The update works fine ... just downloaded the latest version ...

Delete all previous versions.
Make sure you are not using any other transfer files, this can cause conflicts.
Have you put the update in the right folder?
Are you using Database version 17.3?

For the record, use of any non official data update files (like league expansions) has no guarantee of compatibility with the sortitoutsi.net update, they can and do conflict with it.
