Player Current and Potential Ability File - 2017/2018

Hi,

This file only changes player current abilities and potential (CA/CP), as well as some player attributes to reflect new CA and PA. It's fully compatible with the official and great sortitoutsi update.
I reviewed the top 11 european leagues, all teams in first division of the most important ones and the only the bigger clubs from other ones.
It has more than 10000 changes, with the objective of reflecting the new season teams quality. Many people doesn't like to play with custom db that change the CA and CP, however the game without it doesn't reflect the reality, because too much players evolved since the last official update 6 months ago (Mbappé for example was very weak).

The problem is for some people a lot of players will be overrated and other ones underrated, we all feel it about the official FM db, and of course this file will be the same.
However, all these changes will be more similar to FM 2018 db than the current db, that's for sure. It changes the game, to some sort of "FM 2017.5".

Installation: Put the file in the editor data main folder.

Next version if anyone interested will be mid/end September which would contain the new season manager preferred formations and new signings that started better than expected this year.

edit - I should also comment that your knowledge of players is great. Goes much deeper than any CA/PA update I've ever seen. Checked some random players who I felt should be up'd from smaller clubs and you've got them all.

I'm glad to know you liked. Every year i change some CA/CP before the season start, but this year i had a little more time, so i changed a lot of them.
Since that day, i did some minor tweaks to the db and changed some players present in Euro under 21.
Before you start a new game, i can upload the most recent version.

I generally do the CA/PA change myself. I checked your file by curiosity and I have to admit I'm very impressed by the time you took to make all these changes.
I mainly looked at big names and players with 150+ CA. You're a good judge and the change aren't drastic.

You kept it realistic and I kind of agree to most of the changes you made. I'm going to use it as a base and change some players according to my opinion, then I'll definitely use it for a new save.

I'm working on a file to FM18, but only did the revision based in last season and world cup. Right now I'm checking lineups and manager formations to update, only did Premier League, in a week or two it's almost done for 7 top European leagues and major teams in Europe.

Not yet, trying to do the best 1st divisions for now.
But if you have any suggestions of highly underrated and overrated players, i can have a look.

I decided to buy FM19, and unfortunately didn't have time to finish the file. So i uploaded as it was in the end of September, players revised as end of last season and world cup, and English Premier League as this year. 1st post updated, the second file is the FM18 version.
