This doesn't follow the same format as the Radio 4 show, but it's a catchy name and the concept is similar but you get more choice. Studio albums if possible, don't be like Alan!
10 Studio Albums (not necessarily in order unless you want to put them in one)
The Smiths - The Smiths
The Cure - Disintegration
Radiohead - The Bends
Cat Stevens - Tea for the Tillerman
The Verve - Urban Hymns
Morrissey - Bona Drag
Muse - Absolution
Genesis - Invisible Touch
Pixies - Doolittle
Placebo - Placebo
(You don't have to upload the images if you don't want to, they are just the small images on the Wikipedia entries for each album)
Oasis - What's the story morning glory?
Joe Bonamassa - Blues deluxe
Gun's & Roses - Appetite for destruction
Eric Johnson - Venus Isle
Muse - Black Holes and Revelations
Aynsley Lister - self titled album

Black Stone Cherry - self titled
Justicar
Would certainly make my list if I made it a 15.
Yeah there's a few albums I've thought of since making the list.
Justicar
Me too, but I doubt someone will actually exile you. Or wait for you to choose 10 albums!
Out of interest what made you choose Black Holes over Absolution?
I like absolution but there's more songs I like on BHAR; Assasin, Knights of Cydonia, Supermassive Blackhole, Starlight, Invincible etc.
Dutton

Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way
Oasis - Definitely Maybe
Metallica - Black Album
Eminem - The Slim Shady LP
Bet I've missed some, that's off the top of my head anyway.
Justicar
Fair enough, I'd agree that there are good songs on BHAR, just I'd prefer to listen to Absolution the whole way through I guess.
Dutton, you reminded me. How the feck did I miss the Stone Roses.

1 - Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Vol II (I don't think I could stay on a deserted island and not be able to listen to Rhubarb)

3 - Blur - 13 (Been one of my favourite albums for 13 years now)

9 - Sigur Ros - Takk... (Saeglopur)
10 - The White Stripes - White Blood Cells (Need albums I won't get bored of. Yet to get bored of this after however long it's been)

I like that Zombies one, and Deerhunter are pretty amazing too. The one I listed there is their latest album, but Microcastle and Cryptograms are also good.
I shall be checking out Zog's and Bobber's stuff too. I dig it.
Franck
I like some hip-hop, though I can't really say that there is much overlap between our tastes other than Jay-Z.
Ever listened to French hip-hop? Been listening a lot to this group called 1995 lately, they're awesome.
