So with FM18 now only a month away and the beta most likely just over two weeks away I thought I'd take the plunge and get some ideas from you guys what you would perhaps like to see me do for FM18 for a career. Over the last couple of years I've gone down a few different routes with varying success and having you guys on board throughout has helped motivation as I've reached seasons I never thought I would, what would you be interested in seeing me do for the new game, a couple ideas below:

- Around the World - attempt to win every league and cup playable on the default database

- Build a nation - take over a club in a small nation (Wales, Gibraltar, San Marino etc) build the league and country up to eventual multiple Champions League winners

- One club save - Take on a club and stay with them throughout the seasons try to win as much as possible

- Create a club save - Like I did last year with London City FC, create a club and take them to be world beaters.

- Journeyman - go where the crow flies, no aims or objectives just enjoy the moving around

- Your ideas....

I'm thinking of attempting the Around Europe/World challenge again but I'm not sure whether I'm going to attempt it from the beta or on the actual full release, it depends though if there's any major issues like there was with FM17 whenever you loaded a country, e.g. Belarus and EVERY SINGLE TEAM ended up being playable, ruined it from the get go unfortunately - I'll need to holiday for a season on the beta to see if there's no major issues.

I'll obvious be doing the Susie challenges, and failing.

Finally, I'm thinking of running a save in the 'background' so I can make sure I don't get bored of my main save but I don't have a clue on who to do yet. Bangor aren't playable from the frist season on this years game following their relegation out of the Irish League, can't enjoy managing Newcastle for some reason and I haven't managed Rangers properly for about three years so I'm thinking them.

I'll likely start with my standard Newcastle save, but for some inexplicable reason, I am wanting to start a game in Greece as I've never really managed there before. Could tie it into a 'build a nation' style save and take over the national team too. Aware that isn't half the challenge that San Marino is, but I doubt I have the time for that . Might even make a career thread which I haven't done for at least 1 FM.

I will, of course, be involved in the SUSIE tour too
