Don't know if i am doing something wrong here but i have downloaded various tactics and shortlists for the new FM18, have created the correct files, cleared cache, reloaded skin etc. but the shortlists and tactics both seem to be non existent but when you go into the actual file on in documents they are both there but don't seem to getting picked up by the game its self.
I have tried changing the file types too to ensure these are the right ones, which they are but still no joy, can anyone help?

I have took a screen shot but its not letting me upload it for some reason, i have saved relevant files in...
documents
sports interactive
football manager 2018
then to either shortlists on tactics
I have tactic files saved as .tac and shortlist files saved as .slf
However, when i create my own shortlist in game, it saves as an .fmf file which is what is throwing me.

Ok thanks, i have saved the files in the correct folders that i am instructed to do, i have done this on the previous 5/6 versions of football manger and never come across this before, was thinking it may have been something with the beta, started a new load, still no joy, just can't be bothered to type and search for all the players again haha, will take ages, esp when there is a shortlist there with info already on it

Yes i tried changing them from .tac file to .fmf file but still no joy.
No i got them off the 'fm scout' website, and got the shortlists off 'work the space'

Don't know about shortlists, but yes for tactics you still need to click on "load tactic" in game and find the file.
@johnbond85 do the .tac files not show on the load tactic screen in game at all then?

What do you mean by load them?
Usually, i have saved the files into the relevant folders, once i have loaded the game, example, go to tactics, click the cog, load tactic and then it would appear, but for some reason, just not working this time around, which has sent me round the bend haha as i have done, what i believe to be, everything right, saved in correct files etc.

Yeah that was what i meant, and you're definitely looking at the correct folder in game when trying to load them (the one where the tactics are).

Only the .fmf files that i had to manually resave just to see if they where there.
I change the other shortlists to .fmf files and still don't appear

That is all that comes up although there is about 6 tactics in the folder

Load up the Beta game where you had the Tactics saved, go to the tactic screen and simply save again overwriting the tactic, when you load up your new game they should be there to choose.
