Nope it turned out to be a brutal stint in charge of Darlo @Ipswich Knights.

Ha I can very well believe that @DNZY but cheers nonetheless. Onwards and downwards and all that.

They're crap @HockeyBhoy but I know I'll probably return one day to them haha.

Don't you mean time to find the next job and ruin them @Dan? The next job won't be in England that's for sure.

In theory they should @Ruskii.

Hey ho, hey ho, it's off to Singapore I go . . .

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7EtaleEYSlgovMtdNLb7QCeBA4dCWugrVUmHouvB.png

After being sacked as Darlington manager my reputation stars went down to half a star so jobs were to be limited and I didn't fancy returning to England at this moment in time. The only jobs I could've ideally applied for was other half star or one star jobs and even they were few and far between, a vacancy at Welsh Premier League club Newtown came up and I fancied leaving the United Kingdom for at least a season or two. One job then became vacant in Singapore and I jumped at the chance to apply.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Fmqm9MOs4h2r3HNZzhC9o8rp0YJ6IEx8k7zQVL0H.jpg

And that club was S League favourites DPMM who decided to part company with former Blackburn favourite manager Steve Kean after a fourth place finish in the league. With the club favourites to win the Singaporean top flight and only three trophies available to win I jumped at the opportunity and applied for a job but I wasn't holding out much hope.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/tgf2f49SfrZsWD4c2hmZc7beQdrfU6bInE5jWOto.jpg

The full name of the club is Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota or DPMM for short but they've offered me a surprising interview for the vacancy which I attended, answered all the questions to the best of my ability and now I just await to see if I hear a response.

https://i.imgur.com/awt7w8T.jpg

And now I'm back in football manager as I've been announced the new first team manager of the Singapoire S League side DPMM who decided to appoint a 'virtually unknown' Northern Irish man as their new boss even though I don't know the language at the moment. It said I previously struggled at Darlington and that's an understatement but I'm raring to go at DPMM and I don't think it can go any worse. The club were only formed back in 2000. They were previously banned from the S League om 2010 because of FIFA and excelled a year previously.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/EKuLIiMe5qW4LHmXvdCi3jOvHXYGMVlzlcpSufHW.jpg

And the final piece of news on this update is even though I've only been appointed the DPMM board are letting me go on my first ever coaching course which will see me capture my National C Licence if I complete the course. It will take around four months of study at the football club will cover the four hundred and eighty pounds fee to cover the course.

DPMM: Preseason round-up 2018

Back in football management a few months after being sacked as Darlington manager, I ended up having to take a job in Singapore with professional top flight side Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club who are one of the favourites to win the S.League alongside Home United. They decided to sack Steve Kean following a fourth place finish, I must at least attempt to win the league or it's a back-to-back sacking for me.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jbSAt5m7nJimoD0MMgLfUISGXcTDk6oopr8EJaTY.jpg

I've ended up bringing in nine players which for me was idiotic as quite a few of them now won't be able to be registered for the forthcoming league campaign (no more than three foreign players are allowed to be registered). I did bring in Irfan Imran, Harrison Eyenga Lokila, Charlie Hornby, Jack Bradley, Harvey Moss, Sahairi Ramri, Amirul Adli, Nur Ridho and Faiq Bolkiah - Aldi costing us twenty five and a half thousand pound while Bolkiah joind on loan from Leicester City until the end of the season. Zeljko Savic, Azwan Muhd Salleh and Muhd Aminuddin Zakwan Muhd Tahir departed the club and joined Vojvodina, Home United and Young Lions respectively.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PK1l890aXORuD5eEIPZUdljRRFUcQvK36mckXlRq.jpg

It turned out to be a mixed preseason as well at DPMM as four games were organised and we won half of them as Bedok Youth United and Singapore Power were beaten four one and three one but then the side suffered back-to-back defeats against Rendezvous and Elias Park. The S.League season begins with a home fixture against Warriors and I'm hoping we can get off to a winning start.

DPMM: February 2018

The season is upon us as we've entered the first competitive month in charge of Singaporean side DPMM and we have four league games awaiting us with two of them being at home against Warriors and Albirex (S) while we also face trips to Geylang Int. and Home United.

S.League - Match Day One
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/UFN6oo5coAPRJq3yxhJJUPTfFFxf6ekE7iusijXb.jpg

The twenty eighteen campaign began with a home fixture against Warriors and it was a horrible start to the season as we shipped three goals inside the opening forty minutes as Webb, Nor and Paranjody scored while Sulaiman bagged the fourth Warriors goal. Striker Ramazotti bagged a brace for DPMM but it's a poor start.

S.League - Match Day Two
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sAW2mBXI9KOdpEsVjbs79dINvDoGyk3v2wyTJFcp.jpg

Battered. It's back-to-back defeats to begin the season as Geylang Int. won two one. Gabriel Quak broke the deadlock on seven minutes, Ramazotti equalised against the run of play on fifty six minutes but the hosts won when Coto Ortega scored with twenty two minutes remaining.

S.League - Match Day Three
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/75YCYjqvmoMuwJ3FOs3QZVue4Ul5dZNh20uu8pap.jpg

It took three games but we produced our first S.League victory of the season, beating Albirex (S) four goals to two at home as Muhd Maududi struck a second half hat trick - but it doesn't tell the story because the visitors took a two goal lead as Yanagi hit a double inside the opening half an hour, Salas pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time before Maududi's second half treble.

S.League - Match Day Four
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/IsehrXxATmQrvCbEOQ9WQoZdzhpfP8hinOGOcSJ3.jpg

A goal in either half from Harvey Moss and Othman gave us a two nil victory on the road against the one of the league favourites Home United.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nK4m2XhYFg1cBZKBTOblupg3UbOqzN6mccnN31ni.jpg

It's been a mixed start to life at DPMM but I don't think anyone's at all surprised because I'm in charge. We find ourselves in fifth place after the opening four games with two wins and two defeats. Warriors lead the table while Albirex (S) are bottom and pointless after three games.

DPMM: March 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jTCV2gOaPM0SDK3eF91b8YelMgiJXOIHT9VHH5qT.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/quMuJRdJ4lM96GvXMaglx9uHvMEYoZXZxPvSFa9H.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/i6Stou2rqsdCgQZ3EKV5YwxR9MDIFLJzZrP2X8Uf.png

It's been a mixed enough start as the new DPMM manager with two wins and two defeats in my first four games in charge of the Singapore club, now into March and we've another four games awaiting us as we will entertain Young Lions and Balestier at home while trips to Hougang United and Tampines also awaited this month.

S.League - Match Day Five
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/QTOXJz2kfTMTC7NF0SW6kEZfwstF0iSp9Mu70s6Z.jpg

Hat trick's from strikers Ramazotti and Muhd Maududi saw us beat Young Lions seven goals to two with centre back Salas bagging the other goal - Shameer Aziq's brace were merely consolation goals for Young Lions.

S.League - Match Day Six
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7kvQGAPnA8617DhnBoyXx7ct5STqnhf9w5VNcltu.jpg

We couldn't build on that seven goals to two success as we then slipped up, losing four two away to Hougang United. Othman and Muhd Maududi scored in each half for ourselves while Salleh, Pablo Rodriguez, Syed Thaha and Anuar struck for the hosts.

S.League - Match Day Seven
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hDpg0l3MveWY4hEYVUHqIbDP0i7CPE7Jas0jq5pf.jpg

Nanda Lin Kyaw Chit struck with eight minutes remaining to give Balestier maximum points. Poor.

S.League - Match Day Eight
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ty1dyq1r5Zc2kAxJ0mqQwek8HLUloSvTnN6c3Tvd.jpg

The final game of the month took us to win-less Tampines and in typical fashion the hosts picked up their first league win of the season, beating us two nil in dominating fashion in which Fazrul Nawaz broke the deadlock on forty two minutes before Silvas' goal with two minutes remaining sealed the points.

March round-up
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ssoY2PY0QrKNjXJR1ptH5WoTXw6O98LaqVpP1xRk.jpg

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/eLFaMMLzWLGMugYwo0rfldytVtx7v6XmoIfcM9Mm.jpg

Despite those three consecutive defeats we still remain in fifth position but my DPMM side are now TEN points behind the leaders Balestier - despite picking up their first league win against ourselves last time out, Tampines remain bottom. Just four points separate ourselves and the basement club and it's important we return to winning ways as soon as possible - our next game will take us to Warriors who have already eased past us this season.

DPMM: April 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/jTCV2gOaPM0SDK3eF91b8YelMgiJXOIHT9VHH5qT.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/quMuJRdJ4lM96GvXMaglx9uHvMEYoZXZxPvSFa9H.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/i6Stou2rqsdCgQZ3EKV5YwxR9MDIFLJzZrP2X8Uf.png

We are in poor form at the minute following three consecutive defeats and failure to score in the previous two fixtures and as we enter the month of April as we have five S.League fixtures awaiting us - three of them are on the road as the side travel to Warriors, Albirex (S) and Young Lions while hosts Geylang International and Home United. I need to guide back to winning ways as soon as possible or I'll need to face the consequences.

S.League - Match Day Nine
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/MtwSaIqoI3WUwWuemVumAqgN0aPtNSXhcOpi7iqh.jpg

It's now four consecutive defeats and three S.League games without a goal as Warriors eased to a three nil victory in our first game in April as Paranjody, Emmeric Ong and El Habbib scored for the home side.

S.League - Match Day Ten
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0HmVDa9sQg4Udf1e3Twbw2dEBd7fhOU4S1McGRSM.jpg

It's now five games without a win but at least we ended the losing streak with a two apiece draw against Geylang International at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. Muhd Maududi gave us the lead on nine minutes and held the lead until Coto Ortega levelled with eleven minutes remaining, Maududi's second of the game regained our lead but Gabriel Quak's equaliser, a minute later saw the game end two two.

S.League - Match Day Eleven
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6Sn3Vk00n3KGo0g4QoCfhSGt9MlL7ICZiVopTUXV.jpg

We had to come from behind to secure a hard fought two one success at Albirex as our win-less run came to an end. Yanagi fired the hosts into a twelfth minute lead, Amat equalised with three minutes of the first half remaining before Muhd Maududi's goal on sixty eight minutes proved to be the winner for my DPMM charges.

S.League - Match Day Twelve
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/EfoqvhgDTWbB24THw0QaLrNsmH3yfrR4AIvfbfes.jpg

A nil nil draw followed against Home United, we could've won it but didn't. Lets move on.

S.League - Match Day Thirteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/sM16NqIxew8AHY2yShR6pz4z3PIYtvR5ARQiRs8w.jpg

The month of April concluded with an excellent three goals to nil success on the road at the now basement club Young Lions in which Azwan Ali's spot kick gave us the lead on eighteen minutes and that's how it remained until second half goals from Salas and Amat sealed maximum points on our travels.

April round-up
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ZpY8VwGe4bnusBxX2LDF5C0xczsQTaLXz2qS0Chu.jpg

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/iTEYoGbQLLxJCjkf9jR4B8GuyKkz0wXMCK3WXb91.jpg

We are four games unbeaten, our best run of the current season by far but we still can't seem to climb the league table as my DPMM side remain in fifth place and six points behind the league leaders Hougang United but despite being just six points behind I still remain under intense pressure and I've got two league games remaining before the mid-season break. The two games before the mid-season break will see us travel to Balestier before hosting a Tampines side who secured their first league victory of the season against us earlier in the season, we'll be looking (and hopefully getting) revenge on them.

The final month before the mid-season break is upon us and just two more games were to be played before the break and those games saw us make the journey to Balestier before hosting Tampines.

S.League - Match Day Fourteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/xctFm55NilhMnobspl794JbLdAkRInB6ridSNvHN.jpg

Our four game unbeaten streak has come to an end as the side suffered a two one defeat on the road against Balestier, Ramazotti scored our goal in between a brace from Nanda Lin Kyaw Chit.

S.League - Match Day Fifteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/f7E7W0NabIWHmQyDGkP66Fq7BI5jnS5NJOAPdWcG.jpg

But we would soon bounce back in the game before the mid-season break as we eased part Tampines at home. Ramazotti broke the deadlock after nineteen minutes, Muhd Maududi made it two nil two minutes into the second half. We were comfortable throughout the game.

May round-up

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/FUNy7lOfAEzdseEqXAWMVCVrb3bE65VzoOBvQ3Y7.jpg

That one defeat at the hands of Balestier has seen us slip down to sixth position in the S.League table which is a little frustrating, especially when we won our last game against Tampines. Geylang International are the new leaders while Young Lions prop up the table.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/Et8dVE0cQ6A6mdBd111HmXJNBs8a3L2MLzlx6Una.jpg

But it's happened again! I have been sacked as manager of DPMM and once again I've failed to see out a season and my reputation just can't improve. My "failure to improve the overall performance at the club was the final straw" and I'm out of work again even though this was like a month into the mid-season break. I'm beginning to hate this game.

No, I'm not allowed to load up any new nations (e.g. Northern Ireland) as that wasn't part of the agreement I had with myself at the start of the game, I've to complete a nation before picking a new one.

Rhyl-ling into Wales

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6hUXM9fZOkWOM2zbl6O0ZO1XfyxEpT84UCqLfSAL.png

After 'securing' my second sacking in just over one season my reputation remained at half a star and that once again meant I had limited job opportunities despite securing my first coaching badge during my tenure at Singaporean side DPMM as I got my National C Licence. Jobs were available but due to my reputation I had to wait for what seemed an eternity for a vacancy suitable for my rubbish reputation to come up and yes, it was back to the United Kingdom I went.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PlbSAvrBfFBVTmbxTTTiFrtCF8zgnj2OI8xmaym7.jpg

Not one but two jobs became available in the space of a few days and I ended up applying for both, they were at National League North/South side Billericay Town and Welsh Premier Division side Rhyl, both clubs were newly promoted to their respective divisions. I attended both interviews and now I'm just waiting to see if one of them will get back to me but I wouldn't blame either if they couldn't be bothered - who wants to employ a manager who'll struggle and then get sacked within a week?

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/6bCX45k7uH4enIrEUDhFwhv4PjHMcVWtadSlxbFN.jpg

Obviously Rhyl have decided to be stupid enough and take a punt on me to become their next manager and I'm quite surprised but due to them being newly promoted they're expected to struggle in the Welsh top flight and maybe I need to try and remain at a 'struggling' club, build them up and try to help my reputation. It'll probably be a trophy-less stint due to needing to topple TNS and the current WPL champions Bangor City.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/2YIImQwDGvxFjqsctdp4GPbzqlWQ3W7StSSHw92b.jpg

And here's conformation that I've been appointed as the new manager of newly promoted Welsh Premier Division side Rhyl who had offered me a one year deal at Belle Vue in which I'll be earning eighty five pounds per week.

One thing I haven't mentioned which I'm going to do now, the squad is TINY so thus I'll need to make an absolute ton of signings and I highly doubt 'big names' will be interested in coming to a newly promoted side with no transfer budget but an average enough wage budget. I simply CAN NOT get sacked from this job, there's very few half star/one star clubs playable on my current nations selected.

I'm back once again on the British shores following a disappointing stint in Singapore with DPMM in which I still feel my sacking was unjust due to being in the mid-season break but with yet again jobs being limited, Rhyl was my latest destination - I forgot to take a screenshot but the Rhyl board are allowing me to take my next managerial course which'll see me secure my National B Licence once I'm successful, they're paying the six hundred pounds.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/0IhmoDgfcb6n9bNLOGPzGd33sRmUB5OWCMlt7l83.jpg

Due to the squad being very tiny when I took the reigns signings needed to be made and quickly as fourteen players arrived at Belle Vue this summer - twelve of them arrived on free transfers as Jack Perry, Andy Wycherley, Glen Fearn, Sam Ashworth, Jack Kenny, Owen Allen, James Davies, Kyle Williams, Tom Kemp, Michael Pritchard, Bailey Jackson and Josh Barnett (Cardiff Met Uni) while The New Saints duo Martyn Wardley and Jonny James joined on-loan.

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/hvuWECTq7kMlMhPJCNuukgft56ULu2y21jWeVUkR.jpg

Just one defeat happened in what turned out to be a somewhat decent preseason program as Warrington defeated us two goals to one, we then defeated Llandudno Junction two nil before three consecutive one apiece draws against Solihull Moors, Clitheroe and Glen Conwy and then preseason concluded with a two one win at Rhos United.

With a decent preseason program behind us it's now for us to begin the competitive football action in Wales for the first (and not the last time) in my managerial career. We have two WPL games against Barry Town United at home before travelling to Connah's Quay but the competitive action will begin with a trip to Aberystwyth in theWord Cup first round tie.

theWord Cup - First Round
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/boPpLotk0COMozyUqlmwrHcCdykM3btt749GRobM.jpg

So the competitive season began with a tough trip to Aberystwyth in first round of theWord Cup and Rhyl had to come from behind to seal their second round passage. Hughes broke the deadlock on thirty one minutes but Michael Pritchard's debut goal levelled the scored two minutes later before an own goal from Sinnott, three minutes into the second half sealed the win.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day One
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/3kTHd0kBsoiGsZoaGEIroAXx24rXzOkaqm37SYxE.jpg

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/iejyXwXqSn1RqZ4fyPrxBR82vSXYBwRoG55F6dAZ.jpg

We then made the trip to Connah's Quay and secured our first point of the season following a nil nil draw but it also means we haven't found the net in our first two league games.

Two Welsh Premier League games have been played so far this season and we are not only win-less from the first two games but we haven't been able to score a goal yet - into the month of September now and we have four league outings awaiting us against Aberystwyth, Newtown, Bala and Cefn Druids along with theWord Cup second round tie away to Haverfordwest.

theWord Cup - Second Round
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/phE8D7Kq3Bfk8uTGjmnC37lIddK6Jn18LCA0AIAc.jpg

Our only competitive win so far this season came in theWord Cup first round tie away to Aberystwyth and we progressed to the third round with a single goal win away to fellow newly promoted side Haverfordwest as Wardley scored what turned out to be the winner with ten first half minutes remaining.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Three
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/z7e5D4lJAGmG0vh1FrliUFseG6SH2vzqrd7ktTfg.jpg

It's now three league games without a league win and a goal as Aberystwyth won two goals to nil at Belle Vue as Cook scored in either half for the visitors.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Four
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/GLPVZ4kGf0IEcrq6KITLq7LC9U8hWSXYt1jvw5ZW.jpg

Our first league win arrived in our next game as we defeated Newtown by two goals to one, Luke Boundford opened the scoring on seven minutes before scoring what turned out to be the winning goal four minutes from time - in between the Boundford double, Jones was dismissed for Newtown two minutes before half time and McMinimee had levelled on fifty four minutes.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Five
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/flHdtPVe4OcLPFT8ZyPwP3rQKnckGB0GpsBWoddI.jpg

But we couldn't build on our first league success last time out as Bala secured a success at Belle Vue, winning four two on the travels. Jonny James's cracking free kick gave us the lead but goals from Ogleby (11), Davies (17) and Jonathan James (60) but Bala in firm control, Luke Boundford made it three two to give us a glimmer of hope but that was extinguished when Spender's spot kick on eighty four minutes secured three Bala points.

theWord Cup - Third Round
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/MQ869iSLKCLsZkyUkYvAWVzN8A1IlvcexKDnLi4j.jpg

It would be a third round exit in this season's theWord Cup as Barry Town United came from a goal down to progress to the fourth round of the competition, midfielder Barnett gave us the lead on thirty seven minutes but Barry pegged us back when McLaggon made it one apiece on seventy three minutes, Smith's goal on one hundred and two minutes proved to be the winner.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Six
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/K491i2cNaFQF3ZthP6r9JqVu4fRlgusDh2Q2Ty7d.jpg

The second month of the season concluded with a two one defeat at home to Cefn Druids - Michael Pritchard equalised in between an Edwards brace for the visitors.

So it's just the one league win from the opening six league games and it's not the most ideal start but it was always going to be difficult with a Rhyl side who needed to be massively rebuilt over the summer and there wasn't much talent around for a newly promoted semi-professional side. Connah's Quay are propping up the table while TNS are top and two points clear.

Just don't get relegated and you might stay in the job! Not really winning trophies though, is it?

Unfortunately due to my reputation being so poor @Suffolk Seasider, these are the only jobs I can attract at present.

Rhyl: October 2018

Just one league win from our opening six Welsh Premier League fixtures, it was always going to be a tough challenge at Rhyl and with a (pretty much) new look squad they're going to need time to gel together. Now as we enter October the squad has hopefully gelled now as four WPL games await us - the side will travel to Haversfordwest and Carmarthen will we'll host last season's runners-up The New Saints and Cardiff Met University.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Seven
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/v3cPs9xei8f0HrSwW1cgiyCyu6Hq0W9qNbUMoHKT.jpg

The third month of competitive fixtures began with just our second top flight victory of the season, beating Haverfordwest three one on the road. Poole gave us the lead after twelve minutes but Jones equalised six minutes before half time - two goals in the final fifteen minutes from Mitchael Pritchard and Watkin sealed maximum points.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Eight
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/8APIBcY3J6Vb8R9cYIQcNY2Z8OpXhzzWLy3OHhJU.jpg

A nil nil draw at Belle Vue but because it was against The New Saints, I'll allow it, even if they did have Cabango dismissed on the hour mark.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Nine
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/lgOhmuhT0DuTOg7f3kuoR7tSgt0yHkVyceJEFG9G.jpg

It was a Sunday afternoon to remember for our travelling support as we disposed of Carmarthen Town at Richmond Park as second half substitute Mitchael Pritchard hit a brace of penalty kicks while Williams and Davies were also on the score sheet before the Pritchard double.

And our new found confidence continued as we had to come from two goals down to secure a point against Cardiff Met as all four goals were scored in a crazy second half - S. Jones and M. Jones gave the students a two goal lead but two goals in the final ten minutes from Luke Boundford an a Williams leveller in the third minute of added time sealed an unlikely point at Belle Vue.

With ten league matches down we find ourselves right in mid-table (sixth position) with three wins, three draws and four defeats from the ten matches and a plus one goal difference. Carmarthen prop up the table while the current champions Bangor are third and five points behind the leaders.

That's a good draw against TNS.

It was @DNZY but it was also a little shame we couldn't capitalise when they went down to ten.

Rhyl: November 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KbIBhtGOacQq7fzpgGqExQcnZVWcBoIU0fuq1vPH.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PIYEBHyDUTY3tKnAB5l7SagL6xV3Ku1KfZlgTnAT.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/52nY9XyUWYMvqCYIqIBaJCZLSVY3EYRttt7NoNEf.png

With a rare unbeaten month behind us which included an excellent point against The New Saints we entered the penultimate month of twenty eighteen - November brought four more league games against Barry Town United, Connah's Quay, Aberystwyth and Newtown while Rhyl also hosted Haverfordwest in the third round of the Welsh Cup.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Eleven
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/nTszfTlPA7nZLtKyYnlicuZJvVPJYTprog7aCzVL.jpg

The month began with a trip to Barry as the unbeaten run stretched to five games following this two one success. Michael Pritchard gave us the lead with two minutes remaining until half time, Frater made it one apiece on sixty three minutes but Declan Poole's goal with fourteen minutes remaining sealed the win on our travels.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Twelve
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/8NWvP7lDP8ejlDscgEIFrZUuSBCRSLOGYmOeZlxV.jpg

Our unbeaten run came to an end as Shackleton's goal on thirteen minutes gave Connah's Quay the points at Belle Vue.

Welsh Cup - Third Round
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/WVbq486hf8O8706Z8dB0T3vUtcPCrfVy4hoYgh7k.jpg

It turned out to be a short run in the Welsh Cup this season as a goal from Holden on eighty four minutes saw Haverfordwest progress to the next round.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Thirteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/11keYNxdOw7L879kLfC7cshoR1ROfwmywjz8WOud.jpg

It turned out to be the late show at Park Avenue as two goals in the space of two minutes inside the final ten minutes saw Aberystwyth and Rhyl share the spoils. The hosts took the lead first on eighty four minutes through James' goal but Watkin's equaliser, two minutes later, salvaged a point.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Fourteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/da3bFH24cy0cYgGOh61wjyLv9qZlrcNnvPhrd0QS.jpg

And the month would conclude with a frustrating and disappointing three one defeat at home to Newtown who went two goals up inside the opening twenty minutes through a McMinimee brace, Wandless made it three nil and that was effectively game over before half time. Kyle Williams pulled a goal back in second half stoppage time but it was a poor, poor showing from the hosts.

Lying in seventh place after fourteen league games, it hasn't been a bad season thus far for my Rhyl side but we still remain frustratingly inconsistent. Fellow newly promoted side Haverfordwest currently prop up the table while TNS remain top and still three points clear of current champions Bangor City.

The final piece of news this month is that I've been allowed to go on another coaching course as the Rhyl board feel I'm doing a 'good job' at the club currently. This'll course will see me, if successful, get my National A Licence and it'll take around four months of study and the football club are paying the six hundred pounds to cover the course.

Not doing too badly with Rhyl, the previous month before the last was brilliant!

That would've been the best month I've had thus far on Football Manager 2018 @Dan bar none.

Rhyl: December 2018

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/KbIBhtGOacQq7fzpgGqExQcnZVWcBoIU0fuq1vPH.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/PIYEBHyDUTY3tKnAB5l7SagL6xV3Ku1KfZlgTnAT.png - https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/52nY9XyUWYMvqCYIqIBaJCZLSVY3EYRttt7NoNEf.png

It's been an expected inconsistent season thus far for Rhyl Football Club as we have now entered the final month of the calendar year and there's five league fixtures with month with FOUR of them being on the road against Bala Town, Cefn Druids, Bangor City and The New Saints while our one and only home game in December is against the basement side Havefordwest.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Fifteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/H80EKAM24tldwkP5akRFNygstWxz9pmScHS5CZuR.jpg

A crazy final seventeen minutes at Maes Tegid saw Bala and Rhyl share the spoils in a two all draw - Will Bell gave us the lead on seventy three minutes, two goals in the space six minutes from Craig and Smith saw the hosts turn the game around but Kyle Williams' goal on eighty six minutes saw the points shared.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Sixteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/uBUFTckZ34TLedWcFl1Id9k3EHcvmt38qqshkySq.jpg

We then slipped up against high flying Cfen Druids, Orme bagging the winner for the hosts with three minutes remaining.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Seventeen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/ZPp6iUmPXuJlmS2CbSBcF5rCcFRg1zQwQFthpnbA.jpg

But the side returned to winning ways in this game, easing to a three nil victory against the basement side at Belle Vue. Two goals in the space of three minutes from Tom Davies and Luke Boundford near the end of the first half had us in control, Boundford's second of the game on seventy three minutes secured maximum points.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Eighteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/fGvYC3skOYZWvW5jN91X4fRTQhxJU8U2qpo0wNU8.jpg

It was then a sensational game at Nantporth saw us beat the reigning Welsh Premier League champions Bangor in a seven goal thriller but it could've been more comfortable as a Luke Boundford brace and a Michael Pritchard goal had us three two up at half time as Hewitt (14) and Holsgrove (45+1) scored for the champions - Holsgrove's second of the game had the scores all level but an own goal from Clark gave Rhyl an excellent four three success.

Welsh Premier League - Match Day Nineteen
https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/VVra5ATXg8z4ywS2GpO7GUrGgXNHkPsqDVUtTGNw.jpg

The calendar year concluded with a two nil loss at the hands of the league leaders TNS as Lofts and Wes Fletcher scored inside the opening twenty two minutes. I then chose to go attacking in the second half due to having 'nothing to lose' but nothing at all happened.

Nineteen league games have been played and there's only three more to play before the league splits in two as it splits into a "Championship Group" and a "Relegation Group". We find ourselves currently in seventh place with six wins, five draws and eight defeats from our nineteen games thus far. Haverfordwest continue to prop up the table while TNS lead it and are now six points clear.
