any help for mac users? I cant get the adboards to show at all. Just all balck. Used to have the stadium adborads but after downloading this file, nothing shows. I dont seem to know where to put the steam file on a mac?

The problem seems to be the video ads. the stadiums that they dont have video ads work ok but those they have dont. In adition if you paste the steam folder ( the one that have the video ads in) you lose the numbers, after you delete the steam folder the numbers coming back.

Absolutely gutted that this is not working for me in the slightest; followed all the instructions, visual instructions would be great with this, youtube, pictures etc

Had this on previous games and it makes such a difference

This is due to a bug which SI are investigating

There is no file fm.xml in the archive ads on screen#1.
There are only two folders "Club"/"No Club"

You need to pick which xml file you want to use and copy/paste it from the club/no club folder to the ads folder... as explained in the original patch installation instructions...

I managed to do it only when video boards are displayed on all perimeters the same. Then there are others, but they are also the same.

in the folder club or not club is the fm file in it must insert the so as it described first picture

the way the ingredients are correct,but if it doesn't mean that they are swapped XML files,I have begun to show the adboards for the champions League when I used the XML file for the CLUB ADBOARDS but it should be.

xml and graphics you have misplaced ,you need to put in the( Documents/Sports interactive/Footbal manager 2018/Graphics/Pictures/ads) static Adboards and (Documents/Sports interactive/Footbal manager 2018/ads) for the xml file.

Like Kosic has pointed out your folder structures are wrong, adboards config files work different to ones for kits and logos and therefore need to named correctly and all in lower case characters

What is your folder location for the video ads, the reason your adboards are showing up as they are is because the game can’t find them which means they are in the wrong location

That looks like the issue then, Football Manager must be unable to load files from your D drive
