Look at this picture.

My team (white) are defending and about half my team presses for the ball - leaving the center and goal area wide open.
Everyone can see what this results in.

So my question, how could this happen.
Half of the players running for the ball has "low pressing" while some others has "sometimes". Half of them have instructions to keep their positioning.

I don't want this to happen again.

I can't see your tactics, but if you're on very fluid and perhaps attacking mentality and your players have poor decision making, this would be a logical consequence.
