How many City fans ended up going? Did Arsenal lower the price?

I think the figure is about 2,000, but tbh the only real way to know for sure is to count them all. And who can be arsed with that... as for the price, the unsold tickets were all sold to Arsenal supporters.

Good spot by the referee, even if the red was a tad harsh.

Don't think I've seen a more jammy penalty save, mind

Of course it's a red, he's the last man.

I don't see how he can give the red for that - Dzeko wouldn't have gotten there ahead of Szczesny or Tevez. Awful decision.

Clearly a penalty, but not a red card I don't think.

What a penalty save though.

Red was not harsh and a good spot from Dean. Dzeko just crumbled though but I guess he was entitled to.

Great start to the game.

Yeah the ball bounced right in front of him, Koscielny is an idiot.

Erm isn't Dzeko left footed? Why did he take that with his right?

Anyway, the referee's set a precedent now. Any shirt-pulling or grappling in the box has to equal a penalty.

Why was Man City being unable to sell out their section a big story?

Because of the prices of the tickets.

Not like where they can't sell their home games out despite tickets being a tenner etc.

Dzeko should have ran, sat on the bench, then got up to take the peno

I dunno. What annoys me is that some people seem to forget that we don't have hundreds of millions of pounds worth of oil money financing our club. We spend what we make. Maybe if we had some sort of external investment we might be able to charge less for tickets.

£62 is always too much to charge, no matter what the situation

You've got something like the 5th highest turnover in football.

I got 3 tickets to the Everton-Fulham FA Cup game last year for £60. So £62 for one ticket is extremely expensive.

Perhaps it is, but there's some cheek from some City fans slagging us off for it given the drastic differences between how both clubs operate.
