Just sold Felliani on my Everton game for £25,000,000 not a bad profit margin in comparison to the 16,000,000 he cost. Anyway, I have bought Adel Taarabt from QPR as a replacement for just 9,000,000. I was just looking for some advice on how to play him in terms of roles and player instructions from the more seasoned FM players out there.

Thanks for your help!

My suggestion would be to play him just behind the striker as an 'Advanced Playmaker'.

Set his 'Creative Freedom' to 'Much' and see how he goes. After a few games you can adjust other settings accordingly i.e, closing down etc.

Hope this helps.

Instead of advanced playmaker, I'd play him as an attacking midfielder.

Careful how you deal with him in player talk too - he's a bit of an arsehole.

Yep this is what I do. I started with Wolves in the championship and bought him for what I remember being a very cheap price. He is excellent for me playing at an attacking Midfielder.
Definitely the best position for him in my opinion. I was also forced to play him as a right winger sometimes and he also played very well there too.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm currently using him as AP, but he doesn't seem to be making a substation inpact. I'll give attacking mid a try now.
What makes it even worse is that Jelavic is out for 6 weeks with a injury!
