we have to set him as Retire, then set him as Assistant Manager, like we had done with Micheal Carrick

I don’t think it will work as Terry does not have a staff profile inFM18 but Carrick did have a player and staff profile.

Don't suppose there's a way to get him now as assistant manager in the database now he's being set as non player here?

I don’t think he has a staff profile in game so I don’t know if it is worth setting him as a non-player?
