So I started a new game earlier today.
Both Joe Cole (and Robbie Keane were in game but set as players only still and had no staff role.
Could we try setting both individuals ‘player profiles’ as ‘Free Agents’ (effectively unretiring them) and then setting there staff profiles to there relevant role?

Joe Cole doesn't show up on game at all now? I hoping to hire him as a coach!

Hmmmm I thought we established if we ‘retire’ someone’s player profile it removes them from the game completely?

He is still a player when I start a new game. So I don’t think setting him as a “non-player” is working

He still appears as a player in my game. Maybe he should be retired on his player-profile and changed to assistant manager on his staff-profile?
If Joe decides to work as staff, then we change his role. Now he is retired footballer.
He already did in June...
He was player/assistant manager last season for Tampa Bay.
