Hahaa you don't check up enough Zeonflux. With the snow we've had down here I've not been able to travel anywhere except a five minute walk to work so its fair to say I've played a bit. But my computer is quality and with it being played on FMC its even better.
We went into the final month of a very tight season trailing league leader Cibalia by just two points and with our first game of the month against them we really had a chance of claiming the title. The final month of the season provided us with six games and we had to be at our best now.
The final month began at home as we welcomed Cibalia. A big game for us saw Tokic give us the lead after eight minutes to put us in control. However come the break the league leaders were back level. A small tactical tweek so us go ahead again through Tokic's second and despite Cibalia pressing, we counter attacked late on and managed to snatch a third through Celina to send us top!
A second home game on the bounce saw us welcome Pomorac and for the second time in two games we won three one. Tokic once again the man in the limelight as he netted twice in thee minutes around the half hour mark to put us two up. However second half Pomorac came back at us and pulled on back. They also saw a goal disallowed but we secured the game in injury time through Lenosek.
Next on the agenda was a trip to already relegated Beliscoe and they proved no match for us as we kept our first clean sheet in several games. Tokic once again on form as he grabbed his fifth and sixth goals in just three showings this month. His goals on the fortieth and forty first minute were brilliant to send us into the break two up. These proved to be the only goals of the game.
We traveled to Osijek and it proved to be our first and only slip up of the final month. Tokic once again fired us infront as he netted after three minutes. However come the break we were two one down and looking into defeat. But we were saved by our inform striker as Tokic netted his eighth in four games.
Our penultimate game of the season saw us welcome Lucko and return to winning ways with a confident performance coming late on in the second half. Kresinger gave us the lead twelve minutes from time before Kolaric came off the bench to net our second five minutes from time.
Yes! We had done it! The final game of the season saw us welcome Mosor and claim a three one win. Tokic grabbed his ninth goal in just six games as he ended the season on a high with a goal after nineteen minutes. We were two nil up after twenty three minutes as Vukojevic doubled our lead. Second half we conceded one and started to slip away, but instead of giving up we made an attacking switch and Celina came off the bench to net our third and final goal of the season.
We had done it by the narrowest of margins. I'm not really sure if we even deserved to win the league, we were top for about three games all season but come the end, the most important time that matters we had done it! We pipped Cilbalia by just two points come the end of the season in what was another closely contested year. Sibenik finished in third despite being predicted to win the league twelve points off the top. We were predicted to finish second with Cibalia expected third.
And a quick look at the MAXtv Prva Liga shows that my former side Hajduk managed to secure back to back league titles as they pipped Dinamo once again this season, on goal difference. Both sides ran away from the rest of the league and they ended on seventy nine points but Hajduk's goal difference was just three better than Dinamo which saw them claim the league for the second year running.

Yet again you have wrapped up another league and you're getting closer and closer to heading to your home country of England. KIU and good luck in Czech Republic, will keep following.

It felt good finishing Croatia which was a little easier as I got to start with a side of Hajduk's quality! Off to Czech now Benniewijs!
Tokic was superb in the last six games! Netting nine goals was a fantastic run for him Shedender. Indeed we are getting close to England now!
Thanks alot ShortSharpShock!
Here I come Miimaa! Be interesting to see how I cope in Czech Republic! Last year this is where it crashed so this is my first EVER adventure into Czech!
With Croatia wrapped up swiftly there was only one thing left for me to do now. I loaded up Czech Republic and made the following decisions on my current job. With Czech Republic coming into play in just over a month I thought I would do a quick rundown of my history now another country is done.
First things first, on the first of May 2028 I decided my time here in Croatia was now up. With all four trophies nailed it was the only thing I had to do. We managed to claim the league and now they can head into the top league with confidence, with only one relegation spot in the top league its very unlikely they will go back down as long as they put in some good displays.
Here are my 'transfer' statistics with Croatia now done and dusted. My number of players brought has now risen to forty four whilst sold is now twenty one and released is just forty seven players. All in all I have spent nine million but made twenty point five million on players out. We've also paid one point eight million pounds to agents already and to be fair haven't hit one of the 'big countries' yet!
And here are my 'on the pitch' statistics. We've played five hundred and six matches of which we have claimed two hundred and ninety five wins and lost one hundred and twelve, leaving the other ninety nine games as draws. This has given us a win percentage of just over half at fifty eight percent won. We are nearing the one thousand goal tally as we have now score eight hundred and ninety whilst conceding five hundred and seventy seven. This gives us a goal difference of three hundred and thirteen goals.

I haven't touched down in Czech Republic for long but already some big things have happened in the space of a few days. I've been linked with a huge job as well as applied for the only vacancy that was available and landed the job. So here is what has happened the last few days.
This was the only vacancy on show as I touched down in Croatia. Ceske Budejovice and following their relegation from 1. Gambrinus Liga they are now in the Druha Liga, also known as 2. Liga. But they are expected to do well next year so it certainly wasn't a 'dead end' job!
They quickly approached me and with the season starting in less than a months time it was important I got the job early as possible. The contract was offered with one thousand one hundred pound a week offered to me. I changed this slightly to make it one thousand pound a week and I was happy. They have a very good transfer budget of over one million pounds whilst slightly spending more on wages than desired. We will look to change this though.
And that was that. We were now managing in Croatia meaning we took another small step to returning home to England. We would battle through this season and see where we stood after that. The club are in good shape financially. But as I said in the opening post. I was linked with another big job and here it was.
Brendan Rodgers has today ended his reign as England manager and I am already being touted as the favorite man for the job. This message came as quite a surprise to me. I haven't applied for the job as I am not sure what to do. International trophies aren't on the agenda for me and Shedender however it would be nice to get my name down and about as early as possible to raise my reputation some more...
ShortSharpShock
It would certainly make finding a job in England easier, not that you need it.
zeonflux
I'd take it as it should in theory increase your reputation everywhere not just in England.......the big team will be over you like a lad from Swansea on a ball
Miimaa
I'm not sure about the national team job, because I play them rarely (I think I have managed a national team twice so far until FM08). But in your case it would be a nice variegation.
Shedender
As for the possibility of managing the English national team, it's not needed but it's up to yourself.
Dan
Indeed it would make it a whole lot easier Zeonflux!
I assume it is Miimaa! They were just relegated so I hope we can make an immediate return to the top flight and we shall see where we can go from there! As I said we weren't offered the job in the end
Thanks Shedender! I hope I can be a hit here but I've NEVER managed here so its a test!
____________________________________________________
So my first pre season in charge here in Czech Republic allowed me to change the side around a little as well as battle through some fixtures. But this early time here also allowed me to meet and judge the current team and get them use to my main tactic as we mount another bid for silverware.
The transfer season has gone okay and we have made some decent money this summer. We've brought in five players which have amounted up to one point four million whilst the other way saw six players leave this summer where we made a cushty three point two million. However we are still in the hunt this summer for a few more players so I will be trying to make a few more moves.
As you can see the team report is very good in places however there are a few places we are trying to strengthen. Our number one goalkeeper Kral looks very good to save his position whilst our three centre backs and left back also look strong. Right back is an area I am still looking to improve. We also seem to have no central midfielders so once again I will hunt for a couple of them the wings look strong so do our two strikers.
As I said when I took over the club were in a very strong financial situation despite them being relegated in the previous season. The club has a very strong three point six million in the balance whilst we have no transfer budget left. However we do have over five thousand pounds left to spend on wages should we find the players we need to.
Here are the friendlies I took charge of.We only had four this summer but it was enough to see the good signs of the team and see everything click together. In four friendlies we managed to go unbeaten with three wins as well as picking up a draw. We managed to keep three clean sheets which was very good. We conceded one goal which was in our draw at the end of the month but netted twelve times!
Shedender
You had a good pre season bar that one draw but at least you remained unbeaten. Spent big too I guess for a team in the second league? You'll do well mate. KIU.
Dan
Pre season was done and dusted and now we headed into the competitive fixtures with hope in our hearts of a good season. We faced two games from two different competitions in the opening month. Firstly we would face a game in the Pohar ceske posty and then we would begin the 2. Liga to try and get off to a winning start in both competitions. We were filled with confidence.
We began the competitive season in Czech republic with a trip to non league side Milevsko in the Pohar ceske posty first round and we advanced into the second round with confidence. Homola fired us into the lead after twenty seven minuets with a very calm finish. We added a second goal in the second half as Rezek got his career here off to a flyer with a solid header.
Our first league game of the season, my first home game of the season and our last game of the month saw us welcome Zlin. We got off to a flyer as did our new striker Cerny. He put us ahead just after the half hour mark with a calm finish before doubling our lead seven minutes later. After the break we conceded one and were on the back foot a little. However with just under half an hour left on the clock Cerny netted his hatrick and our third to get us off to a flyer.
The league is only young but I will not go an update with competitive games without showing it. With just one league game this season we have made the confident start which we had to do. We won our opening game and sit second in the league table not far behind Most who made a brilliant start in the league/
Dan
So seeming I've never managed here in Czech Republic...ever! It was a very confident start from the side I've never heard of with two wins from two under our belts. With the cup run already started and the league off to winning ways we were confident from the opening month. However August was a more meaningful month than July as we faced four league games and the second round of the Pohar ceske posty.
We continued our fine start as we began the month with a trip to Vlasim where we once again won three one. We were ahead after just eight minutes with Mracek finding the back of the net from a corner. Fifteen mintues later we found ourselves two up as Riha found the back of the net before Cerny added his fourth in two games before the break. We conceded in the second half as we took our foot off the gas a little but secured a comfortable win.
However our second game of August was a step backwards as I lost for the first time here in Czech Republic. We traveled to Opava and just failed to do anything really. We were two down inside half an hour following some sloppy mistakes. Second half Opava added a third before a consolation goal went in which happened to be an own goal.
We then faced a double header against Jihlava. The first encounter we traveled to them in the league clash and returned to winning ways. Pilik netted after just two minutes for us to get us off to a flyer and ten minutes later we doubled our lead as Kasper managed to find the net. However come the break we only led by a goal as Jihlava pulled one back. Second half the game was very tight however we did enough as a late goal from Razek managed to see us across the line.
As we returned home we welcomed Jihlava in the Pohar ceske posty second round where we managed to advance once again. Another confident showing saw us go ahead from Kasper who netted for the second game running, meaning he has scored against this side twice already. We added a second three minutes before the break which proved to be the final goal of the game. Sedlak managed to nod home a corner after being unmarked.
A second home game on the bounce to end the month and a second clean sheet with a third win on the bounce to end strongly. We welcomed Most who had made a confident start to the league season however we were too good. We led ten minutes before the break as Hanzlik managed to find the net. We left it late to secure the win as our second came one minute into injury time with Havlicek the man to find the net.
We are now five games down this season and the league title is close as you would expect but we have made a very good start to the league season. We sit second with four wins from five sitting us nicely on twelve points early on. League leaders Trinec have a point more than us having won four and drawn one of their opening five games whilst third and fourth place Bohemians Prague and Usti nad Labem sit a point behind me on eleven, Zlin sit in fifth with ten points.

We went into September in second place as we sat very confidently in the league with our early league form looking very promising and us searching for the title. We went into it very confidently and needed to continue to play the football we knew how to. The month of September gave us six games to compete with, five of them were in the league whilst the other saw us face the third round of the Pohar ceske posty where we looked to keep our fine cup run alive.
We began September at home welcoming Olomouc - Holice and we managed to continue our very good run! We began well and took the lead after twenty two minutes when Riha found the net confidently. Before the break we conceded one and the game got very tight. However going into the final ten minutes we managed to snatch a win as Kostal turned a cross into his own goal!
We then travel to Trinec, the side were rising up the table but we proved to have more than them still. We led after fourteen minutes when Sedlak jumped highest from a corner and remained calm to nod it to the far post and twenty minutes later had our second with another own goal. Second half we conceded one but held on to a two one win and all three points.
We continued our fine winning ways in the league when we traveled to Taborsko. An easier game for us and one we relished upon. Kasper gave us the lead after just twenty five minutes as things began to fall our way again. We added a second through Riha a minute into injury time to see us two up at the break. Second half we added a third with two minutes left on the clock when Cerny managed to net.
We picked up back to back clean sheets when we traveled to non league side Znojmo in the Pohar Ceske posty third round. An easy enough tie for us saw a very confident performance from striker Rein. He put us infront after nine minutes to give us a confident start. Second half we added a second, again Rein finding the net. Before the striker completed his third with one minute left on the clock.
We managed to make it eight wins in a row in all competitions as we returned home to welcome league contenders Bohemians Prague. A very narrow game saw us take the win with just a single goal. That goal came after twenty four minutes through Pilik nodding home a whipped in free kick from the right.
We finally lost when we welcome Usti nad Labem. We tried to play our football but the away side just wouldn't let us. They had two early goals before Havlicek netted one back for us after the restart. However when they added a third in the second half we fell to defeat.
Ten league games down and we sit confidently top of the table with a small gap opening up as we lose just once this month. We sit top on twenty four points whilst Zlin now sit second with twenty one points, trailing by just three. Trinec sit third with twenty points whilst Hlucin come into play with eighteen points. Its still quite tight however we did have a good five point gap before losing our final league game of the month.

Four to win in Czech Republic.
Doing well in the league Dan, at least you're top and so far looking good for the title and long may it continue.
Dan
Its annoying we did lose that one game Benniewijs as it cost us a three point gap at the top but we did play very poorly! We hit the winter break at the end of November so hopefully can open the gap a little.
We've hit the ground running Shedender but with them being relegated last year and us spending over a million in the league we really needed to hit the top as soon as possible which we have done!
We were top and beginning to pull away as we entered October but we knew it wouldn't be an easy run trying to keep the league race alive as well as keeping our cup run on track. October produced us five games with four coming in the league and the other was the Pohar ceske posty round four first leg.
The league started with a seven goal thriller as we traveled to Caslav. A poor start for us saw us two down in fifteen minutes and starring at back to back defeats! However a shift of motivation saw us pull one back when Pilik netted from the spot on the twenty third minute and we added a second to bring us level on the thirty third minute. Before the break we found ourselves three two behind. However second half we came out fighting, we came back level through Kasper with half an hour to play before we wrapped up the win when Sedlak netted with ten minutes to go.
We returned home for our first of two clashes against Karvina this month. Our first was in the league where we maintained our winning run onto two games now. Schneider put us ahead after just twenty eight minutes before we found ourselves two up before the break with Sedlak netting again. After the restart we conceded but saw out the win.
Traveling to third place Hlucin we maintained our good form and kept our first clean sheet of the month. A good showing from Kasper saw him lead us to glory. He netted our first after half an hour and doubled our lead with the final goal of the game one minute before the break.
We then returned home to welcome Karvina for the second time this month. We welcomed them in the Pohar ceske posty and once again ran to victory in the first leg of round four. We took the lead in the final minute of the first half as Rein netted in injury time. We conceded one after the restart and it looked like the first leg was heading for a draw. However a late goal in the ninetieth minute from substitute Havlicek secured a win.
We ended the month with a second home game on the bounce where we returned to league action welcoming Pardubice and keeping back to back league clean sheets. A quiet game saw Kasper net the only goal of the game which came after just thirteen minutes.
Halfway into the league season and we are doing very well in the league as we move top and begin to break away from the rest of the pack now. We are five points clear of second place Zlin now, we have thirty six points whilst they sit second on thirty one. We are six points clear of third place Trinec whilst now eleven points clear from fourth and fifth place Most and Hlucin now.
Dan
November was the final month of competitive action for us this calender year and it was going to be a tough one as we may of only faced three games but they all happened to be away from home. We faced to league encounters before facing the second leg of the Pohar ceske posty fourth round. It was going to be tough but hopefully we could end the calender year of competitive football on a high.
We began November with the first of two league games as we traveled to Sokolov. A close game saw us nearly blow our lead. We began strongly as we welcomed Razek after eleven minutes before we went two up nine minutes later as Rein found the net and we were comfortable. However a second half strike from Sokolov brought the game back in contention but we held on.
We traveled away again to face second place Zlin and slipped up for the first league game in six. Unfortunately we weren't at our best and this really cost us. We conceded a goal either side of the break as we slumped to a two nil defeat and let the rivals catch us a little at the top.
A third away game on the bounce and the final once of the month and calender year saw us travel to Karvina in the Pohar ceske posty fourth round second leg. We already led two one from the first leg and ended a confident round to progress. Rein was on form as he netted seven minutes into the game and added his and our second two minutes after the restart. We added a third on the night with Kasper netting and advanced to the quarter finals with a five one aggregate score.
Just two league games came from November and now we have passed the halfway stage and gone on to look towards the winter break. Despite slipping to defeat against Zlin we still stay top. We've blown the five point lead and now sit just two points clear of them. However we are still nine points clear of third place Trinec and ten clear of fourth place Most meaning we are still comfortable in finishing in a top two finish.
We now head into the winter break where we will return to competitive action nearing the end of February 2029

Thanks again Benniewijs! We have definitely hit the ground running as expected here but its not over yet. The winter breaks are annoying and I will be pleased when we get to England and don't have to face that!
A winter break coasting across three months and the new year really allowed us to review the squad and also look into adding new additions should we need them. However this period also allowed us to play through some friendlies to get our morale up high and keep the fitness levels up.
As we went into the competitive football a few months ago our balance sat at just over three million. Now we have seen a good rise as we have just over five and a half million in the clubs balance which is fantastic for a club as small as us but we will not be wasting it. No new faces over the winter and with us spending over eight and a half thousand pounds under the wage budget we are in great shape.
Once again I was kind and let the players have the whole of December off and we returned to friendly action over January and February which saw us face ten games and perform very well against a mix of opposition with strengths and weaknesses. We began well with a win before losing our next three, we only narrowly lost out though and with them all being in the division above us we preformed very well. We also beat Viktoria later in the winter break who are also in the league above us. Seven wins from ten games was impressive for us.
Miimaa
Dan
The winter break was very pleasing as we played some top sides and despite losing three of them we were in very good shape against them following some good performances. This saw us return to league action with confidence under our belts. We faced just two league games to end February and they were both at home.
We returned to league action confidently as we welcomed Opava and netted four conceding one. We began well as Suchanek gave us the lead after just eleven minutes. Ten minutes later we found ourselves two up as Havlicek doubled our lead. He added his second and our third before the break. Second half we conceded one before Havlicek netted his hatrick goal late on.
Our second game and last in February was also at home and it also saw us net four in another confident display. We got off to a good start as we netted past Vlasim after just fourteen minutes when Dvorak found the net. We were two up on the stroke of half time as a penalty was confidently converted from Riha. Second after the break we went three nil up with Dvorak's second whilst we rounded up the win with a goal from Rein.
A cracking return to league action saw us net eight as we won both our games in February which has been fantastic for our league table. We sit top still and now open a bigger gap. We move eight points clear of second place Zlin now whilst third place Trinec are nine points behind us and fourth place Most are now ten points behind. We are opening up a great advantage now.
