Right so as you all know I've been challenging Shedender on the careers section with our two journeys around Europe. We are both doing very well and our reputations are on the rise. And earlier this afternoon I received this message:

Its fair to say I was a little surprised, I mean I've done well but wasn't expecting to be linked with such a high job already. However this is where my complaint comes in! I am yet to unlock this achievement to be able to play as an international manager on FMC and I went to buy it for the sake of 99p (not that SI should be charging after we pay something chronic for the game in the first place) and it said I would only be able to use it if I started a new game. So clearly even if I unlock it it will still only take effect when a new game is loaded?

This has really annoyed me! So thought I'd share it!

I don't play FMC but this isn't fair and it needs addressing.

Are you expected to take the initiative and download most of the 'add-ons' before you start a new game??!!

You should be able to use them straight away in-game after purchase (not that you should need to purchase them in the first place!!)

Fuckin rip off mate. I've never had a game on FMC anyway as things such as team talk's which I see as vital to the FM experience are missing. No way I would ever pay for something like that. The only DLC I would like to see is additional fully functioning leagues such as Cyprus, Jamaica, New Zealand etc which unfortunately SI has missed a trick on.

I hope this doesn't kill your enthusiasm for your game.

I think its ridiculous that FMC would introduce a message such as the one I received if I can't even manage a national side and what more if I did buy it, for the sake of 99p I wouldn't of actually cared but the fact I would of had to start a new game is absolutely ridiculous!

However Rick its fair to say the motivation levels did take a small hit! However after communicating with Shedender we both decided that it was best he didn't go into national management either. However this is annoying nonetheless!
