It's been a while since I've been on the site for any reason.
Partly of it is due to real-life commitments but the other half was that I felt that my FM19 experience was very dull due to the constant failures of my saves and not enjoying it in the end.
Despite watching videos and reading guides, for some reason I can't make my own tactics or even when I pre-load tactics I don't last half a season of being a manager.
Hence, my drive to play the game dropped exponentially and now I would like to get back to it but before that, I'd like to prep myself as if I'm playing the game fresh again.
Any pieces of advice or resources you guys could give me so I could have an enjoyable time with FM? Thanks in advance.

Much like your good self, life commitments get in the way of spending hours and hours on FM so....
Whenever a new FM comes out i generally leave it a few months (in this case 6!) to enable others to develop a whole load of successful tactics. With that i look at the ones others have kindly uploaded and pick 3 that i like the look of and basically make minor changes to them to fit the team i am.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I also download various other things like training routines, corners, free kicks etc etc, just because i dont have the time to make them myself.
