2019 [Editor-help] CONCACAF Champions League - Im no noob.

I'm an experianced FM-editor but i haven't played or modified FM for som years now. Me and my friedn now decided we should buil a pretty complicated database suited to our needs and play a new file.
We build a simular database back in FM 15 which we have played for 30 seasons now.

The problem i'm facing is that the Changes i make, when i try to recreate the Concacaf Champions League don't work in the game.
I can change the name from [Swedish] Nordamerikanska Mästerligan to Concacaf Champions League and the changes work in the game. But as soon as i change the nations to supply teams to continental rules or the format of the tournamnet the name changes back to "Nordamerikanska Mästarligan" and the format and nations stays as they were from the begining - no changes made...

I have downloaded other peoples editing of Concacaf CL and it work in the game but no changes i make to that database will work in the game.

Is this some known problem i don't know about?
