Hey everyone. I'm looking at upgrading my PC, and I'm someone that would like to be able to have a lot of detail into my saves (ie. leagues and players) as I love using scouts in unknown areas when I can. I was wondering what everyone has? I haven't paid a lot of attention to PC's for years so I don't even know where to start anymore!

have a look over at SI there are several threads specific to laptops

there was a bench test thread too for users to compare their set ups running with all leagues/nations etc etc

I got a lot of help there with my self build(mine is a desktop though worked out much cheaper than off the shelf high end laptop and it eats FM running all leagues with a custom DB and over 180k players)

CPU: Intel i5 8600k coffee lake

CPU Turbo Frequency: 3.6 ghz base overclocked to 5 ghz

CPU Overclocked: yes

RAM: 16.00GB Dual-Channel Corsair vengeance 2400 mhz CL14

RAM Clockspeed: 3000MHz OC

GPU: GTX 1060 6GB Palit Super Jetstream

OS: Win 10 Pro 64-bit Fall creators update

Storage: M.2 SSD NVMe Samsung EVO 960 500GB

bench test at SI -(thats all nations playable and a custom DB of over 200k players ) those results were in the top 5% and the system was pretty cheap to build it beat the top end i7 / i9 systems as they generate too much heat and you lose the speed due to it as a tip for anyone interested you dont need more that 16gb ram(more than enough) its the m2. ssd where you get the big difference

and that cpu is simply brilliant I have overclocked it and it stays steady over 5.0 with no issues but even runnning normal its a beast for the price
