No, the players who are already in the club have their normal contract terms. Only new players have the reduced contracts.

if you are in 2018 the contracts are from SI
if you are in 2019 we have to emulate that we are in 2018 and reduce 1 year

Fully understand what you are saying thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this and other projects too
there does need to be a different approach to the live update just today had to approve again Petr Cech as a non player( he cant be moved to Chelsea as a staff member as its bugged) but he certainly isnt a player at Arsenal and he keeps getting changed back to a player there

because without the staff/player file then the live update will have things like kompany as a player at man city/ cech as a player at arsenal etc etc
I have changed them to non players again but @Mateee has disabled the change so I dont think he realizes that the file fixing these many issues has been removed and so it needs addressing again

In the update, Casillas is as a Player - but I would like to change that with the Game Editor - how can I do it? Which Db do I have to open?

Can't be this issue (with Cech and Kompany) fixed somehow? Is it a limitation of editor's xml file?

So another question/suggestion - Liga NOS will have 2 relegations, not 3. The portuguese 2nd league (ledman pro) has only 2 clubs being promoted.

as far as I am aware this has been an issue for sometime and the consensus is the only way to resolve it was a separate file to fix the known issues
as explained in the linked file I posted earlier
only @Footygamer can answer the internal fix
