In the latest update build you will now find the Players and Staff Changes file, this include changes to players who've retired or taken up non-player roles and so on.

Please use this thread to post suggestions or queries.

Is there a list of the current changes you’ve implemented?

Would be useful to find the old list from the previous file?

there is no previous file this is a totally new file

Thus far relatively few, the previous file was withdrawn and a new one had to be created. This one covers the glaring big ones such as Kompany, Cech, Rooney and the Swansea manager Cooper.

hope none. the files should be based on other changelogs and not by other files.
it's easy to check if it's a copy paste.

Vincent Kompany is not the player/manager anymore. He will focus on his role as a player (captain) but he will still give some advice.
Simon Davies is now the official manager of the team. (I think it will make things much easier for the editors)

It's quite difficult to explain
they are actually looking for a scapegoat and it's easier to fire Simon Davies when the results stay bad.
So maybe it's a good idea to make him player/first team coach or Player / assistant manager

Volkan Demirel from Fenerbahce is retired and he will continue as coach, most likely the GK Coach First Team.
By the way, I've set him as Non Player in live data update, I don't know if it needs to be deleted or not.

Installed all the latest date update files, but Brighton and Hove Albion does not have Graham Potter as their manager.

What is the criteria for adding players to teams squads? I have looked at the most recent squad lists (1st team, U23 and academy) on the official Aston Villa website, and there are several players who are not in the player list for Villa on here, yet all are on Villas books, and all have been picked and in the main played for the various squads. Doesn't being shown on a clubs official website, justify them being added?

as the OP states this file addresses issues to players/staff already in the DB that cant be resolved with our online editor eg players taking up staff jobs

we do not add missing players to the DB, if you want players added to the DB especially for FM20 you need to raise it over at SI they have specific database/club threads for things like this

best option is to add those players you want in the game yourself via the pre game editor, even sirtavares has stopped doing things like this now as FM 20 is due out soon
