The manager will be starting as a Sunday League footballer with a National A Coaching license. My preference is and has always been towards youth development and that is what we shall focus upon right through this save.
Darlington as it stands don't have much in the way of facilities. Basic training and youth facilities will need some urgent TLC and Blackwell Meadows (an old stomping groud of mine) is a far cry from the old stadium 5 minutes away but it'll do - with a capacity of 3300 it will cope with the initial vigours and demands of Non-League football.
