use always this bench instructions
Bench Instructions Shouts
Sorry, it's in portuguese but I believe the order matches so you just have to corresponde one to another. Something like this, I do not know the exact terms in english:
-play from defence
- press deep
- agressive tackle
- play to ball to box
- play through defence

Also you giver the lectures to the player both collective and individual:
before the game: assertive I expect a win
end of 1st half: never say you are delighted, they won't play well in the 2nd half
end game: delighted
Also, day after game private chat with your players that they are playing well, they will be happy

Bench instructions are to use with both tactics I gave you, with this long shots are a lot fewer

I think your tactic is lethal counter-attacking, it's a solid option to other teams rather than the big ones. Of course FC Porto is not at the top of the moutain :-) but it is a very good club with a solid european reputation and a club like FC Porto has to control the game and you can only control it if you have the ball :-)
How are you doing mate?

There are a few things that are absolutely essential with any tactic: lectures and private chating with players to keep them motivated; and even more important, you have to work the prefered moves of each. This is really the secret, for instance you won't do anything with a tiki-taka system if your forwards like long range shots. So alongside with the new tactic I am training this aspect and there are some prefered moves that all your players must do: disarms adversaries, close marking, disable all long range shots, defenders and midfields also prefered move pass more and shot less.
More Training: Lateral defenders act as wing backs, defensive midfielders as they are, midfielders as box-to-box, attacking midfields (flank) as inside forward and striker as number 10.
Some general instructions:
Strategy: Control
Philosophy: very fluid
Passing: More Short Pass (player instructions bar totally to the left for all players)
Pressing: more pressing
Tacking: more agressive
Creative Freedom: standard (player instructions: none to all players, except box-to-box midfielders)
Roaming: more roaming
Tempo: slow (bar totally to the left and move 2 steps to the right)
Width: narrow (the same as above)
Marking: Zonal Marking
Player Instructions:
Mentality: change to attacking to all players
All players move from position
Closing Down: Full to all players
Tacking: agressive
All players set to run from deep always, except defensive midfielder, box to box midfielders and number 10 (these are to be set sometimes)
Creative freedom set to none to all players except box to box
Tight Marking set to all players
All bars in the menu alongside with passing type (run from deep, run with ball, etc, etc) set to rarely except:
a) attacking midfields (flank)
1- run from deep: always
2- run with ball: sometimes
3- through ball: always
4- crossing: sometimes
5- wide play: cuts inside
b) number 10
1- run from deep: sometimes (also rarely, it's an option)
2- run with ball: sometimes
3- through ball: sometimes
4- crossing: sometimes
5- wide play: move into channels
So, with these instructions players are set to move all the time looking for space and they are always receiving and passing the ball, receiving and passing the ball until opponent is tired :-)
