Yet another season in a higher league. Once again I checked the free player market to find some improvements.

Unbelieveable but managed to contract some former Premier league and Championship players

http://imageshack.us/a/img20/4878/incomingtransfers.jpg

Loaned Flanagan and Slew.

On the other side I had to let go 2 players because they didn't want a new contract with my club

http://imageshack.us/a/img9/7854/outgoingtransfers.jpg

Walker and Holland Retired but stayed at the club with a staff contract.

With those big incoming talented transfers the board demands to reach promotion again.

Half way the season we're still in line with that demand

http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/8269/tbl1h.jpg

So far the league cup wasn't a great succes losing in the second round against Nottingham Forest and a loss in the Johnstone's Paint trophy second round against Bolton.

For the FA cup we currently are in the third round facing Rochdale after wining against Bromley and Dartford.

Main focus is the promotion again and maybe win 2 more rounds in the FA Cup.

Once again we gained promotion, this time we did it the good way, by playing champion in the npower league 2.

Most of the team has a long term contract at the club so I would be able too keep the basic for next season.

Only the financial situation of the club is a bit concerning. Can't seem to get out of debt, currently have 4.2mil debts leaving the clubwith a negative balance of 2.72 milj. So next eason will be once again without transfer budget.

http://imageshack.us/a/img23/4465/debts.jpg

Maybe we getting lucky to like this season to bring some decent free players from higher league's. Maybe sell one or 2 big ones that can be replaced by equivalent ones

Board expectations fot next season are to avoid relegation. If we can keep most of the team and get the debts under control we should have a relaxed season.

The first outgoing transfer i couldn't stop, Deane moved for 1.9mil to Rangers FC.
I expect more players will go if i can't pay their contract extension

First transfer window passed by without losing much of my basic team. I managed to loan Flanagan and Slew again for the season
Also picked up some decent youngsters on free again.

Released all the players not needed to drop the wage total a bit.

http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/9434/transfersu.jpg

Hope we don't sink much more in debts otherwise it could be a hard season ahead with player leaving in second transfer window.

pre-season went very well with lots of trialist in the team we managed to draw against Burnley and Rangers fc, wins against Civil Service and Dorchester and only one defeat against Rochdale

First game in August is Against Hull for the Capital one cup 1st round.
Cups aren't a priority this season so players with need of matchpractice are given a chance to impress me.

But still my players grabbed a 1-0 win in the 1st round, an away game against sheffield Wed. is coming in the second round.

For the competition games we couldn't dream of a better start than the 6-0 win over Stevenage. we ended the month ith only one loss in the competition.

End august the second round of the Capital One cup was played, saw us losing Against Sheff Wed with 4-1.

November

A black month for the club. the financial isn't turning as we hoped and PFA place a transfer embargo upon us and we saw 10 points deducted from our total due of that.

Every bid that comes now for one of my players will be accepted automaticly. Put all my scouts at work to look for free players that could join us when one of my players is sold so we don't end up with an empty team.

January was a month to keep fingers crossed that not all my key players were going out to a new club. With that embargo active I had no control over transfers this window.

Suprisely only 4 players left during that window but it were one by one payers I needed to stay clear of relegaton.

Wilson, Ben Amos, Mutombo and Jenkins left for a total transfer fee of 7.5mil. Still not enough to lift my embargo so no new incoming players to fill up the gaps.

Hard second part of the season but we managed to avoid relegation at the end. Mission accomplised

http://imageshack.us/a/img600/2377/tableak.jpg

Received more offers for players leaving me with almost no team for next season. Hope the transfer funds receiving are enough to lift the embargo so i can atleast attract some free players.

Scouting is already began to seek out players near contract end

Morale stayed average. Winter transfers gave enough money to keep everyone happy I think

Hope someone comes in with money would be great to keep some players to end mid table next season

Due of the financial problems of the club I lost nearly all decent players, the bright side about it is that I received a total of 22,46 mil for those players. Giving the club some air to breath upcoming season.

The bad side is i have to build a whole new team from scratch. Time to once again roam the free players market.

2 big names came up: James Milner and Lee Wallace. Already aged players but still good enough for my side.

Rest of the transfer were a mix of younger and little expierenced players but with decent skills.

Pre-season went smooth with ony a 0-2 loss against Norwich.

http://imageshack.us/a/img254/6728/preseason.jpg

The remainder of the season was in line with pre-season giving us a, not expected, promotion spot and a place in the FA cup finals against Man Utd.

http://imageshack.us/a/img835/3756/endtable.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img507/9997/promof.jpg

A superb season despite of the loss against Man Utd in the FA cup final (2-4)

Financial the club is doing just fine still got a Balance of 18 mil. Think we are ready to strengten the squad for a new adventure next season in the Npower Championship.

Don't expect big transfers for next season, will be roaming the free players market to bring in some extra funds for the club.

Will be the tactic for a couple of seasons now till it is financial possible to try and grab another promotion to premier league, the first time in club's history

Stay tuned
