Question about age restrictions in Bundesliga

Just wondering if anyone knows how to change the 'must be over 17 on 1/1/[....]' problem that prevents players under 17 playing in German league comps. It's a bit annoying having a player turn 17 on the 2nd of January and not being able to play the second half of the season even when they're 17.

I imagine it's hardcoded into the game, but thought I'd see if anyone had any experience.

get into the advanced rules for German leagues
then go to fixture rules

fixture rule index for Bundesliga is 3

you may have to tick the box below too, to allow youth contract players to play in fixtures
