I’ve loaded all mine up and I’ve noticed that I have HD but no SD. I haven’t loaded a game up yet but the general consensus is if there are issues to change it to read SD instead. I think that’s right?

The general advice is if the video adboards do not work it can be beacuse your graphics card can not cope with the demand of 'HD' graphics, however, renaming the 'HD' folder 'SD' tricks the system into treating the same files as gaphics which put a lower demand on your system.

I notice that clubs with no video ads is black by default. It concerns King Power Stadium.
Can you somehow put the static down on video?
Or am I all wrong and you have to install v1.0 and 1.1 before 1.2?

hi, i followed the correct steps, i made the switch from hd to sd because the video banners are not visible, but the simple banners do not appear to me in the stadiums. How can I solve that? Would be a great help

Yes you need to install in order so V1.0 then V1.1 and then V1.2

I think i need an original XML file and pictures/ads folder. If someone can drop it here, would appreciate.

If you delete the fm.xml file found in this location: 'Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\ads' the game will roll back to using the original adboards which came with the game

I am now in the position to announce my latest W.I.P list, for some clubs I might only make static ads. I will consider request's but only for European clubs/competitions and I will not take any requests for any more English ads.

I have changed the file name to sd from hd in the video folder, in the right order and route and still no joy.
Would love to know if anyone is also experiencing this?
I even uninstalled the game and re-installed to see if this would clear it, in case other mods / skin was causing an issue but it didn’t help.

AC Milan already have adboards and flags made, I may update these if needed but they where only made towards the end of last season.
As I have said to you numerous times via message, this is not possible via your set-up. You will get video and static ads to display pitchside but thats your limit. If the game can not load static ads into the stands without this patch then that means it is not possible!

Check your graphics settings.
If you have them set too low then ads will display as black.
Had the issue myself as I had turned my graphics settings down to lower noise from my laptop but when turned back up to the recommended higher level the boards worked perfectly

Yeah, many thanks but as rabcp said, I use this on my iPad and so port stuff over via iTunes. What I don’t understand though is whether the higher level black adboards are a game bug on iOS or down to something I’ve done? I’m stopping short of a iPad re-set but have tried a re-install with no other mods on and still had the issues .......

You might have more luck logging it as a bug on the sports interactive forum, as it’s either a bug or it’s just not possible but they may be able to clarify
