Release clauses

Apologies if this is obvious, I can't seem to get what I'm doing incorrectly. The release clause/fee on players of other clubs says it needs scouting to find out. I've scouted and scouted but it never shows up. Do I have to do something else too?

You can normally click on contract section of player screen and see it there.
