At the moment the file is still not working properly once it is I will look at uploading it.

I did some further research at it appears to be a fault with editor which SI are aware of, no update on whether it will be fixed. this is where I found that information https://community.sigames.com/topic/515492-fm20-real-fixtures-changing-unnecessarily/.

If anyone has any tips on sorting League One - National League so the teams promoted, in the play offs and relegated are correct as the game rightly sims all the missing games, the only way I can think is a lot of maths to work out the need results to end to give the correct outcome. which is not my strong point

you mean players whose contract expires eg 30/06/20? not players who were out of contract at the game start?

Yeah! players whose contract expires 30/0/20 for example Vertonghen is out contract, and real life he's not signing new deal, so after using real fixtures on pre game editor, I set him for release, instead instead starting with 30/0/20 it will be 30/0/21 and I also used custom start date may 11.

I think you mean 30/06/20

yes this seem to be a bug in game and has always been there using custom start dates that SI cannot explain

I will try an old trick now to see if it works as a workaround

note the start date is in April 2020- sometimes dropping into April the issues doesnt appear

now I will try a later one

here we go it kicks in starting using start dates after the 04/05/20

so start no later than the 4th thats when I will when I get around to starting a proper save I will then use FMRTE to get the results of games still to be played as near as possible not ideal but it works

there are 23 teams in league one for 2020/21 season with this file however

All I did was edit the fixtures and added in the scores to try and get the game to use create the correct relegation and promotion based on the games settings. I have not changed any other rules so yeah you might find league one and two don't have the correct number of teams for 20/21 season but as the end of season table for leagues one down were decided on a points per game formula I dont think there is a way to get i correct with working out all the permutations and what points each team would need to achieve for it to be correct.

I think the only way will be to start anew game with the England file fro the Live Transfer Update.
