Hello, I noticed something strange in this update and others on loan as well. When I open the "Live Changes" file in the editor, the loan period appears as 6/30/2020 and not 2021. What can I be doing wrong?

Isn't that correct?

Maybe I'm missing something, but in the context of FM 2020, a season-long loan would finish mid-2020. If it was 2021, it'd be a two-season loan from the start of the game (for leagues that run August-May).

for exemple, Gareth Bale, it's set to end the loan june 30th 2020, it's wrong, he will play there till 2021

No, so I understand what you are saying. What I'm suggesting is that the latest version of the game, FM 2020, starts in pre-season of the 2019/20 season. So let's say July 2019. Gareth Bale, as the example, is on a loan until the end of the season.

Whilst in real-life he is due to be at Tottenham until 2021, in the context of the game, he's on a one-season loan. That season starts in 2019 and ends in 2020. If he were on loan until 2021, it would be a two-season loan. Alternatively, for full realism, the first season would be ignored and his loan would only start once the game was one year in (and in pre-season of 2020/21).

Generally, it's accepted that once a season has gone by, versus real-life, the game is essentially 'one year ahead' with transfers realised and loans in place for the first season in-game. The alternative approach would be to configure all transfers and loans as future transfers and loans.

yes, I know that, and I agree with you that the better solution could be the future transfers, but, nevermind, soon FM 2021 will be released
