Sacked after 29 days?

Took over from the sacked Pep Guardiola at Man City with 8 games left of the season. Was unbeaten in the league, winning 2 and drawing one, and won and lost one game in the Europa League.

Reason for being sacked was poor league position - despite taking them from 8th to 5th in my 3 games. There was no warning either, drew my final game and was sacked instantly.

Has anybody ever been sacked so quickly? Is this just a bug or am I the unluckiest player in history?
