Hello, I've recently been placed at a summer camp for 2013! Cant wait.

However I'd like to do travel around the USA before camp starts, as my friend is unable to travel after.

Can anyone tell me the best place to look for cheap flights? It would be something like Edinburgh to Miami. Miami to LA. LA to New York. Looking to go on the 1st of June.

I've had a look on SkyScanner, just wondering if anyone else had any other alternatives?

Probably be cheaper to find connecting flights rather than go Edinburgh to Miami, maybe Edinburgh to London then on from there. Mates of mine went to Las Vegas last year and took a random connection cause it was cheaper

Def better to fly from Heathrow/Manchester or Gatwick. Basically a proper airport.

If you're going to LA, stay somewhere near the coast. Marina del Rey/Venice/Santa Monica. Somewhere like that. Don't go downtown, its a shithole. I recommend the stars homes tours!

Why are you planning on flying from the East coast to the West, then back again? Surely it'd make more sense and be cheaper to check out Miami and New York together before/ after LA?
