Ugh, I've got to get the house clean for the misses friend who' coming to stay for the weekend. why does social convention dictate that the host should clean up? surly as she's going to be sleeping in our spare room, eating our food and pissing in our toilet then it should be her to tidy up when she arrives to repay the favour.

Mate, if it was up to me I'd slap her in the spare room with a single mattress with a spring sticking out in the middle and the bob the builder duvet that has been in our cupboard for god only knows how long, but apparently that would 'reflect badly' on ~~the wife~~ us.
