How to change european spot places in a new league structure?

Hello peepz! Have been playing with the FM Editor for the first time in a while. Have been creating a european superleague containing teams from top five nations in 1st and 2nd tier, and national tiers below. So far, so good.

Now im struggling to get grips about how to get the spots for qualifying for CL, EL and ECL for the new league. Have been creating this new league structure in Germany btw. I know it has something to do with the Resource Archiver and xml.file. But thats kinda it.

Have been searching around the web for a guide or solution, but no luck. Is this even possible or doable? Or is it a hazzle to make it work?

Is this situation im actually struggling with. The spots for the CL and EL are nearly randomly placed. Anything i can do with that? 

And the teams in the tier below has teams qualified for europe tournaments, but it seems its based on reputation, not by league placement. Help? 

 

I'd also like to know, but i have a feeling you can't control which teams qualify for your continental competitions without recreating them from scratch.
