Players retiring young on FM21

I'm really annoyed, I am not even 2 seasons into a game on FM21 and some players in the game have retired WELL before they should… Bradley Johnson, 34, Charlie Austin 32, Oztumer 30… what the hell is going on?! 

That's odd. Have you used any specific extra files (player ability tweaks or something like that for example) for the save?

Also, have the players you mentioned had many injuries in the latter years of their career?

I have some files that I have added, perhaps this has made a difference but the list is so long, so many players that just become coaches far too early! 

I don't think using custom files should usually affect the age when players tend to retire, but maybe there's something there.

I myself use quite many custom files, databases etc. but tend to play my saves so slowly that I don't get to see many familiar players retire during my saves. :)
