Databasemas is now upon us! Work has begun on extra files for our annual data update and as always I know you're all keen to help out. Please use this this thread to post information for league changes (i.e. promotions/relegations, rule changes etc).

Edit: The rule of 5 allowed substitutions is extended to the 2021 season in all divisions. 

Any chance of all the English leagues please. 

An English extra file will be available following the conclusion of the Conference National play offs.

Hi any chance of doing the Scottish leagues?

English leagues are now added to the update, more specific updates to league starting dates etc will be added later but they are now playable following Hartlepool's promotion.

Is the .FMF the full version with English league changes?

England (League) includes all promotions and relegations plus Dovers points deduction so is functional as things stand.

Hi don’t know if its possible but Celtic B and Rangers B are now in the Scottish Lowland league. I was wondering if they could be added in?

nice, after thinking about it, I want to start with Kaiserslautern! So i hope they will do! 🙂 they are doing a massive work! 

Last round of German updates I did I was just waiting on a promotion from the 3. Liga, if that is now confirmed expect them very soon.

I'm getting ‘This data file needs to be tested and verified in the editor before it can be used with this database’ What do I need to do? 

Which file?

Just on all the league .fmf files! 

Try unticking the English file and loading the others, it is the only file with any changes which would require verification the others do not change anything which would render the files unworkable.

I am getting the same error of “This data file needs to be tested and verified in the editor before it can be used with this database” the only working file that dont show up the error is the english file. Right now it is the only one working,

I also get this, England is only one that works

usually resolved by opening file/s[xml] in editor use export

 and using save as

saving it as a  fmf file  

you need to verify the file ONLY if changes have been made in advanced rules-just data changes do not need verification

then delete the xml file

files with no rule changes to leagues DO NOT need to be verified pre game just saved 

this was a bug that was happening previously in FM21 

but try changing to fmf that should work and remove any other previous versions of the file/s

I will have a look into what we can do, I only export to xml for the extra files upload here, if they could be fmf it would be easier.

Hi Stefania, each week I return to leagues which were previously waiting to announce which teams would be in their divisions so if Serie C has been determined Italy will be in the DB soon.
