Perhaps I'm blind, but what is the difference from the existing logo for Serie A in the pack?

They're quite similar, indeed. However, the shades in the letter "A" are slightly different from those in the current logo. Furthermore (but I'm not sure), I think that the new badge will be rectangular and won't have rounded corners like the old one.

I'm pretty sure the current logo of CSA Steaua Bucuresti is the right one for the football branch. This logo belongs to the umbrella club for all the different sport that are part of the mother-club CSA Steaua Bucuresti.
