Can't edit VAR out of the game for specific competitions?

I followed all of kingrobbo's guides for editing continental rules and managed to finally edit those competitions.

 

I was wondering has anyone had any success editing VAR out of the game on FM21? Following the continental guide, I was able to remove it from the champions league, europa and europa conference, however doing the exact same thing, I was unable to remove it from the Super Cup and the Club world Cup. I've also had no success editing it out of advanced nation rules, for example England and the premier league. It seems to have no effect. 

 

Is this something possible in the editor, or editing the XML directly, or another thing that is bugged?

If you can remove from one comp you 

Can from all unless it's hard coded or bugged 

I suggest you report as a bug to si 

 

I will take a look later at super cup
