Haha yeah crazy race. Here in the Netherlands everyone is talking about the worst Olympics ever. Because there was no communication allowed the Dutch missed out on gold during this race. She even thought she was first while crossing the line as second 😛 Our best mountainbiker who would have won gold for sure (Mathieu vd Poel) was not told that they removed the bridge and he crashed and was forced to quit the race. Now with the womans race, the bridge is there again 😛 Our complete rowing team (also 3x gold medal contenders) was on a corona flight from Amsterdam to Tokyo, whereby the whole team has corona except one or two athletes. Also a couple of athletes from other disciplines got corona. Crazy that athletes were sitting next to ‘normal’ passengers, journalists and so on while the cabin crew of KLM was not even PCR tested.
