Getting crashes 10+ hours into the game

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to hear, if any of you are experiencing game crashes when processing?

Ive started 2 games now, with a friend online.

First one started crashing after 11 hours of game play. Unable to get it working again.

Second one, started crashing just before the transfer deadline day in the Premier League.

I have never ever experienced these problems, and ive played FM from the start, even heavily edited games didnt do this. 

Im using Cut out faces, metallic logos and the real name fix. As ive always used. This time im also using the no brexit edit.

Ive spoken with Sega, they just say i need to start a new game with out any addons.. Meh.. thought they could actually tell me something from the dump file. 😢

Ive also done every possible fix, i could find online. 1 time, the game went past the normal crash point, and we got to the actual deadline day event. but then crashed with 13 hours left.. We are getting kinda tired of this. Playing with limited time, this aint fun 😢

I just wanna hear, if any of you have seen something like it.

you need to report this as a bug to SI and insist they resolve it, there has been bugs like this for years and the bottom line Im afraid is the game is very buggy on release and its not fully patched until February/March

5th crash in the past hour of game. It's getting annoying.

I've submitted all the reports to SI. The beta seemed to be a lot more stable, only had one crash.

Ohh yeah. Really annoying. Last crash, i hadnt saved for 48 min. Even though i have autosave on, i had done alot in those 48 mins. 😢

Ive just provided my save game to SI. So hoping to hear something from them in the near future

I've already provided mine. They initially blamed sortitoutsi's license fix and told me to start a new save without it, but forwarded it to the dev team when I insisted it had been stable for 2 in-game months.

Does your game crash the same place everytime, or can you get it to continue, just for it to crash another place?

I managed to get mine working, only for it to crash again. Cant get it going again atm 😢

So ive uploaded and sent that info + file also.

It depends. It crashes after a few in-game days, but it seems to crash less if I save the game. For example, it crashed twice in the same place, but I could get over it after saving. Spent another week, and it crashed. Tried again, same thing. Saved before the crash and I could get over it. Not sure if it was a lucky coincidence, though.

Yeah. But it's typical the same spot it crashes multiple times. And I can't get further, but if i do a couple of changes, it will sometimes go forward.

But the funny part. I have never experienced this before, in any FM. And Ive had some heavyli edited saves.

Can it be because its a online game with a friend.

I hope they will come with an answer.

Well Atleast Sega/SI is asking for alot of stuff. Save games, editor data an Crash Dump.

So hopefully i get some answers.

Ive tried everything now. Still get crashes.

Anyone who uses the nobrexit file? 

So your still using mods?

You need to run tests with just basic game no mods  no skins  nothing extra 

and add one at a time

I had a similar problem with FM20. I'm used to having my computer on 24/7 so I also tend to have my FM on as well. The problem I had was that the game just started crashing after about 3 days. Whenever about 72 hours was up, the game crashed. I had a look at it with SI and they suggested the basic steps, but none of it worked.

I'm glad I haven't had the issue with FM22 so far. I mean 72 hours is quite long on its own, but it's still an issue with the game that I wasn't able to resolve, a modded FM20 or not. And I sure as hell wasn't going to re-install my Windows as they suggested 🙂

Still crashes the same spot.

Ofc there is still the Editor Data. (Real name fix, Christian Eriksen able to play pre game edit, and No Brexit)

But cant remove them from a save game. 😉

I aint gonna play 10+ hours in a new game just to test if it crashes again. Not untill i hear back from SI, they just requested more info/files.

Just sent'em a couple more crash dumps.

I'm starting to believe there's a relation between the crash and the time without saving. If I spend more than 3 or 4 in-game days without saving, I get a crash. If I keep saving every couple of days, I can play a while crash free.  

do a vanilla test nothing added at all real name fix/skin/mods nothing  verify the integrity of the game

clear that SI file first, start a new save and good luck

of interest are you getting any crashes when you save game +exit too?

if so I have found over several versions if you save game and do not  exit fully but  to the start screen then press quit game it stopped those crashes

I deleted everything, and tried again. Still crashed the same spot.

Then we decided to try again.

I deleted everything, verified game files. Deleted editor data.

Then i downloaded all the graphic packs i use.

Cut out faces, Metallic Logos, and Background pack.

Got the most used skin here.

And only the real name fix. I took Spurs as always, my friend took Liverpool, and we went on holidy to August 31st. And then a week more.

No crashes. I don't know if going on holiday can replicate the errors causing crashes. But atm it seems to work.

So tomorrow we will load the save from the start again.

And hopefully i hear back from SI soon-ish.
