So not a horrific start to life in League 2. Very pleased with my two comebacks from a couple of goals down I have to say.
6th, 18 points and a good foundation to build upon for the season.

Well I couldn't have really wished for a better couple of months! Only 11 points dropped from 36. Superb return for a newly promoted side.
It leaves us sitting pretty in 2nd place on 40 points, incidentally the same number that the team amassed when relegated to the BSP.

Another pretty good month overall to many draws would be my only real concern but hey, we aren't losing many. Into round 3 of the FA cup too which is promising.

So we are ticking along at a good and gentle pace, has to be said that I didn't expect to be having such an easy time of it in the league.
Sitting second and a point off top spot with ten games to play is a great season for me so far! Happy with my team.
I have also made a few signings! Youngsters that my scouts have told me could add something in the years to come.
All of them have signed as free agents.

So the final 4 games have been made somewhat tighter by my very poor month. Of course play offs wouldn't be a disaster but I wouldn't be happy to be in them after occupying a top 3 space for so long!

So we managed it, 3 points clear in the end and to be honest this season was so much better than I could have hoped for! A double promotion and a side full of confidence going into League 1.
Obviously it also helps a hell of a lot when your strikers score almost 50 goals between them.
Gillingham came knocking at the door and that was quickly turned down.
