Only the second time I've loaded up the game since I installed on release day as have just not been interested in FM yet this year, plan here is to stay with just the one club as its something I've never managed in the past.
Season 1 Pre Season
Nothing exciting here as always have transfers switched off, did improve my backroom staff but that was it.
Friendlies were fairly standard with none of our opponents being of any real quality. Though the 9-2 victory over Getafe did stand out as they are in La Liga.
Tough start to the season now where we play Tottenham (H), Chelsea )H) then Man City (A) so I'm expecting a start similar to real life!

Little update as into January now, got a bit excited at the interest in some of our shite players and decided to sell them. The board were less than generous and of the £50m+ I made they gave me around £26m to spend on replacements, this has left me less than impressed. I also forgot that 4 of our players bugger off to the African Nations leaving me with a 1st team squad of just 16 players and that includes Lacazette who leaves at the end of January 😀
We are though still performing better than I expected in the league and are also through to the Carabao Cup final where we play Leicester.
