Database issue with Sergio Aguero

Hi guys, 

I've noticed the following issue with the last 2 updates at least. When I start a new game with the Changes.xml file loaded, this happens:

Man City screen

As you can see Aguero's name is blank in the legends section. The same applies to the records screen.

When I disable the editor data file, everything goes back to normal.

No idea what the issue could be and how to fix it myself but I hope it's an easy one!

Hi, I want to ask and didn't wanted to make new thread. How can or better where could I download “data update” with transfers? I've tried with sortitoutsi.net FM22 Data Update - 2022-01-10 04-01-35 but it doesn't have any transfers update when I create new career. 

Can you take a screenshot of where you put the update file?

Yeah I am sure he's been set to retired (with the latest data updates) that's why he's no longer in the game. I think you'd need to update editor yourself to get him back in the game. Just make up a post for him at whatever club you chose. As far as I am aware he was linked with a job at Man City but he's probably just chilling out for the time being. 

But there is no transfer update file onlz this two what I´ve selected.

When I download today's update I get these 3 files, the ‘Changes' one contains all the transfers. Can you try to download it again?

I've downloaded it now at this moment and I have only this two files.

@ZVEZDA91 can you check if your player shirt names file is causing this Aguero issue?

But I see all three of them are there? Just put all of them in the editor data and then see if it works 👍

I’ll have a play around tonight but from Memory I think Aguero has the correct shirt name added in game, so he isn’t a player I needed to edit. 

Just thinking to Aguero’s real life situation - is there any files that have been loaded where he has been removed? Has this been done by SI yet?

I know it's not aimed at me, but I did a quick test of starting a new game just with the changes file.

Okay so this is just a bug in game. I made a single change retiring David Silva and his name disappears.

If this was not reported earlier on the SI forums there is no chance that this will be patched in the winter update. But lets wait and see.

Is it possible to set a future retirement date for Aguero while making him injured until that date? As a workaround until this is fixed?

Also does this bug apply to any player that you retire through editing? Or just a City-specific one.
