Help with adding more than 512 teams in a knockout comp

Hi there,

I'm trying to edit the maximum numbers of teams taking part in a knockout competition (in the editor it is set at max 512 at the moment).

I remember doing this some years ago with the game's resource archiver and using a notepad app to change the value but I don't remember the steps to do that. Would anybody be kind enough to walk me through said steps, please?

I have done it before a few years ago, cant see why it wouldnt work still the method is simple and using good old notepad😉

 

 you need the file saved as a xml in the editor, close the editor 

 

 then open the xml file in notepad+++ and find the part dealing with the number of teams then enter the amount there and save

 

then reopen the editor and the xml file and it will be changed to the set amount you want
