Data update issue registering squad for Europa Conf. League

I use the data update, but recently I played as Leeds, they are qualified for the Europa conference league in season 1, I see the draw for group stages, yet the game won’t let me register players on 1st September.

any ideas most welcome, thanks all

Looking closer, the registration screen says “testing” anybody any ideas
