@LBOW6 What is it you're trying to achieve? You released him and set a future transfer to his current club in the past which obviously doesn't make sense. The system automatically makes any future transfers with dates in the past permanent every night which is why there's a later submission attributed to me.
Your proof doesn't work because it's just to the homepage not an article so it's impossible to know what this is about.

@Footygamer he is still appearing as Walsall’s assistant manager in game as per comments below.
Michael Flynn on a free transfer. Michael Flynn has as future transfer to 
Walsall. Michael Flynn future role is as Manager First Team.The transfer will go through on 11-07-2022. With a contract until 30th June 2024.

Please change Michael Flynn to ‘Manager’. (Currently set at ‘Assistant Manager’ in error)
Michael Flynn has been transferred to 
Walsall. Michael Flynn now has a contract until 30th June 2024.
I honestly have no idea. Can you share what investigations you've done already to save me time?
My best guess is someone else is accidentally set to be Walsall manager that causes him to be demoted, but I can't find anything like that.
