I think players like this should be removed from the base (retirement). On the ORDB, they are usually marked as NFE in a similar situation
This ‘club' is not in FM23 so they won't be loaded in-game anyways, it's more so to easily keep track of them

Yes, but because this “club” is not in FM23 DB these players in the game will be listed as free agents, which is not actually true.
