Help with promotion/relegation playoff advanced rules

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to post about this…

I have run into an issue after downloading a database that unlocks the Swedish 5th tier in FM23.

After playing for a full season, I noticed that the teams that participated in the promotion/relegation playoff were not the teams that finished 2nd and should have qualified, but rather the “best teams” (I assume in reputation?) got to take part in the playoffs despite being in 4th or 8th place in the league, etc.

I am a complete beginner when it comes to editing advanced rules in the FM23 editor and was hoping that someone could help me or at least give a short explanation of what has to be changed for the playoffs to work correctly.
