They cheated and there is nothing worse than cheats!!! I have created a file that throws the book at Man. City from 2022. Please find below the punishments;
- Man. City are relegated from the Premier League to the Sky Bet Championship with a 30 Point deficit. 3 points per season for the years 2009-10 to 2017-18.
- They have been stripped of all titles and any 3rd place finish from 2009 onwards. Each team from 4th place from 2009 onwards move up one place.
- This means extra titles for Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.
- As of 2021 their title has been removed and given to Liverpool. So the Charity Shield for 2022 will now be between Liverpool and Chelsea.
- They have now been removed from Europe as of 2021 because of the above. Each team below moves up one place meaning Arsenal move into the Champions League, West Ham join Manchester United in the Europa League and Leicester City take the vacant FIFA Europa Conference League spot.
- Pep Guardiola has vacated the Coaching role.
- The owners have been banned and removed from ownership.
- They have been handed a 3 year transfer embargo for all nations.
- All finances have been stripped.
- They have been handed a £100,000,000 fine.
This is what they deserve TBH

shame it’s not the red half

Yes shame. I'm a Liverpool fan and I am fuming. Robbed us of at least 3 titles.

I always set up my own redress the imbalance of the corporate elites and their avarice …. and they all get far worse than that 😉
thanks for posting this
DrewJS66

Ha
I cant stand that lot of entitled xxxxx either😀
IMO thats where they should be, and the other dirty clubs too, there should be no EPL, its Division One… it was basically a breakaway from the FA, so the ‘big’ clubs keep all the money
The FA who should have banned it and still should
I am hoping Man City is the start and the English pyramid will become fair…but that is my hope, sadly football is morally and financially rotten to the core …rant over😀
keeping on topic I will set up point deductions in all the leagues for them for future seasons, and add a long term transfer ban and watch them[and others] drop down the pyramid

Will this file be updated now that the new editor data file has dropped from FM as this file no longer works with the new update
kingrobbo
Give him a chance or do it yourself mate

I will probably be using the original DB too when I get to start a save as I use my own structure so its not based on the normal set up

We all know the reality will likely be a fine (meaningless to a club that rich really) and probably some points reduction for next season. If they get harsher than that, they'll likely take it to CAS like they did when UEFA tried to get them and probably will wrangle getting out of all or most of it on some technicality. They won't be relegated or have titles stripped I expect.
The interesting thing however is going to be what investigations are or might be going on in the background with other clubs, such as Newcastle (and possibly City) given the new fitness to own and operate test announced the other day. This could have big repercussions for the likes of Man Utd, as they might struggle to get Qatari ownership through. Of course the other thing is going to be how Barcelona and Juventus play out as they could have repercussions beyond any already announced (as in the case of Juventus) as both UEFA and FIFA have opened their own investigations and I'd be surprised if UEFA/FIFA are awaiting the outcome of the Premier League investigations into City before acting themselves.
The other intertesting thing with regards to the Super League getting mentioned again is the UK goverment's white paper on an independant football regulator. One of the things in the white paper is the proposal that UK clubs would be barred from operating in the UK if they fall outside the control of the FA by joining any break away leagues such as the Super League. Of course currently it is a white paper, but usually this serves as the government giving final warning before stepping in themselves (hence the PL's new fitness to own rules being expanded and expanded to cover not just owners, but directors and chairpeople as a whole). Interesting times ahead.
