Yeovil Town have completed a takeover, with Martin Hellier completing the purchase of the club from Scott Priestnall and is now Owner/Chairman and majority shareholder.

Mr Hellier has also spoken to BBC Radio Somerset today about the fact that he will be injecting £2m into the club to cover a variety of improvements, both structurally and in terms of the playing staff.

n.b. Martin Hellier doesn't currently have an entry on Football Manager so would need to be created. Scott Priestnall is no longer involved in Yeovil Town in any capacity, but at this time there aren't believed to be any further changes to the composition of the board of directors other than a straight swap in control from Priestnall to Hellier.

Is it possible to add the tv money to the promoted teams in the prem, that is burnley, shef utd and luton?

I’ll be updating things like sponsors, clauses etc fairly soon, transfer budgets will be after the window closes but other stuff will be much sooner.

Are promoted and relegated clubs changed in the update?

Does clauses include player wage drops from relegated teams? Tried to start a save with Leeds but they are way over FFP regulations without the wages being dropped as per the contracts.

Wages are a little trickier as contracts and transfers are all done on the website system not the extra files. When the window shuts in theory yes I can make additional changes to people who stayed, but it's not as easy.

at what time is the new version of the data update comes out everyday?

Hmm okay, is there a way to counter balance the ffp then? Maybe by increasing their funds or something similar in the short term. 

Relegated teams will have their respective parachute payments included in their finances.

Someone on Twitter has pointed out that Sheffield Wednesday have too low a budget. They only have 10 players and only £6000k budget which is unplayable.

Problem is if I keep tweaking club budgets before the window shuts it becomes almost impossible to keep track of and wildly out of where they should be by the time it concludes and all transfers are added, it's why I adjust them when it shuts and all spending has been concluded. As Sheff Weds sign more players it'll balance out a little more, if I change it now I am going to have to constantly keep track of whose joined and reduce the wage budgets etc accordingly, times that by how many teams just in England are playable and it becomes very difficult to do.

I could do a temporary optional file if people would like to download separately as a temporary fix.

That's totally reasonable. A single “Sheff Wed" finances file seems like a good option.

question regarding incorrect club names:

german bundesliga club eintracht frankfurt – or eintracht for short – (id: 912) is listed as »frankfurt« in the database, which is wrong.

the club’s name is EINTRACHT frankfurt – see the official website: https://www.eintracht.de

frankfurt (id: 930) is a different club that plays in fourth-tier league regionalliga südwest: https://www.fsv-frankfurt.de/

how can this be rectified? eintracht is the only bundesliga club whose name is incorrect, all the others are listed correctly, e.g. WERDER bremen, BAYER leverkusen, UNION berlin etc.

Hello, there is a big mistake in the data changes. In Portugal Second League the Vilafranquense team (2480) changed of name and became AVS Futebol Club located in the city of Vila das aves.  So all the staff (Jorge Costa first team coach) and all players of Club Desportivo das Aves team (1472) have to been moved on Vilafranquense team (2480) who became AVS Futebol Club. The Club Desportivo das Aves (1472) disappeared in may 2023 like also The Vilafranquense team (2480) which became AVS Futebol club.
