CA/PA Changes

Please use this thread to request CA/PA changes to players or staff, this include both upgrades and downgrades, based on their performance and development during the 22/23 season.

When requesting a change please provide a justification for this (i.e. Camavinga has been played at left back, Enciso is now a first team regular, Hazard has barely played etc). I will not make changes unless there is a concrete reason to do so, so please provide one if you make a request.

The file for this will be included in a link here as it is entirely optional and designed to enhance your experience, those who wish to play with the vanilla database will therefore be able to do so without requiring any additional steps.

Musa stats is terrify. 21 goal last season and only 8 in finishing…..

Can you fix his stats or no?

Please note, when adding players or changing their stats please provide good evidence for this (i.e. what their actual position is, strengths and weaknesses etc), articles from scouting reports is fine, but I need something to actually reflect their ability.

Cheick Toure is the best talent of Austin II, his CA/PA is now 65/71 but it can be more. I think 68/75.

I would like to see Sydney van Hooijdonk (UID: 37070319) to increase from 112 CA to 130 CA, to reflect two very good seasons on loan with SC Heerenveen in the Eredivisie and how he plays, as well as him being the son of Pierre van Hooijdonk. I've listed above how I would distribute that CA to make him more of a Set Piece Specialist, and highlighting his high work rate, speed and his fitness (he has rarely had an injury in the last few years). I would like to see his PA move from a fixed 127, to a dynamic potential, -8, 130-160.

Thank you for the suggestions so far guys, i am working on this still but the priority is to sort out the finances and budgets now the window is closed but I absolutely will also make this available once a lot of the bulk work of that is done.

update (COR, corinthians brazil) gabriel moscardo's PA, he looks very promising, attracting a lot of interest from giant clubs and is a first team player at the age of only 17.

Hello. Muhammed Himmet Ertürk has been a crucial part of the Turkey 1. Lig side Gençlerbirliği in last season, 2 goals and 2 assists in last 10 games. And he's still a starter in this season, making one assist. His stats are ridiculously low in FM. Can I request a slight increase in his technical and physical attributes? Also, he often plays as a left winger; however, he has no positional ability to play in the left in FM.

It is now possible for the community to submit their proposed CA/PA changes directly through the site. Therefore, it would be great if you could do that for those players you’ve mentioned.

To do so, browse to the club the player(s) are registered to through https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update, under the Contribute section. On this page, you’ll see boxes allowing you to fill in and submit CA/PA values. These will then be moderated and, assuming they are reasonable, will be accepted and then immediately get integrated into the Data Update.

@maconnolly Is it just me, but I can't find the feature with boxes to edit player data such as CA/PA. For me, these boxes only show for new players, but not for players that already existed in the FM24 database.. but couldn't, so ended up leaving a message instead.

So you should be able to sumit CA/PA for existing players - it is just further down the page. Everything starts from the club page. In the case of the example you're referring to, that's Djurgardens IF (https://sortitoutsi.net/football-manager-data-update/team/1787).

The general structure of each club page goes as follows:

New Youth Players - listing any newly-created players and their moderation status

Transfers and Contracts - this section shows a list of the people who are registered to the club and it shows a summary of changes made to their transfer status etc.

Edit Player Attributes - this section is where you see a list of all of the players and there is a CA and PA box next to each, allowing you to submit your proposed changes. At the bottom of this section there is a ‘Submit Player Abilities’ button which is how you actually submit.

The start of the section you're looking for looks like this:
 

Joan García (Espanyol) should be the best goalkeaper in La Liga after Courtois and Oblak, and he's 191 cm, not 181. The best one playing with feet, by far. Also, his release clause is €25M, not €39M.

Pedri is the best DM in the world, but in the last update he still can't even play there. He's the player who has recovered the most balls this season, so his defensive stats should be better than, for example, Bellingham. He should be slightly higher in every technical stat, of course much better than Olmo or De Jong. Much better than every player but Yamal or Mbappé, to be honest. Bellingham almost never played as DM (I would bet never in Real Madrid). Pedri is not an offensive midfielder anymore, not even a winger. He's a clear defensive midfielder with great organizational skills, for sure the best in the world in that role.
