"FM23 Application has quit unexpectedly" I need help!!!!!!

I keep on getting this message. I am at end of a season. I have just signed a new player and I progress a few days and the game just crashes. 

 

I have tried uninstalling all of my graphics(kits, logos,trophies). I still get the same message. I have also tried deleting the caches folder and the same message still shows up. 

 

I have also read online that I could maybe try deleting my preferences folder. I haven't tried it yet. 

 

Has anyone else come across this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Hi mate, I had a very similar thing on an older version of FM.  Is it always the same date that it crashes on?

 

If it is always on the same date, try going on holiday until the day afterwards.  That certainly worked for me (no guarantees obviously!) and rescued what I thought was a dead save.
