Great offence
Pretty bad defence (52 goals conceded) similar to bottom of the table teams

Won League 2 with the league's record points total (107), after adopting this tactic four (three league) games into the season.

Overall, yeah, it's pretty electric. The sheer volume of shots per game was the standout effect. Quite a few long range efforts without much success (could be down to player quality), but the massive quantity of shots meant it averaged out well enough.

Goals spread really evenly across the four attacking players, with the BBM CM getting quite a few, too.

Got me results against bigger teams, too:

0-0 (penalty win) vs. Crystal Palace (Premier League)
4-1 win vs. Shrewsbury (League One)
2-1 win vs. Reading (Championship)
3-1 win vs. Preston (Championship)

The games we'd lose, I could just tell we were going to lose them. Every now and again, a team will just get every attack right against us—it's maybe a bit vulnerable against pacey counter attacks.

I had a transfer ban, all of my players were under 21, and I was expected to finish 8th in the league. Despite financial constraints, I could only bring in 2 backup players during the mid-season break, and I managed to become the champion in the first season.

This tactic didn't work well for me. Yes, the result wasn't terrible, with a win percentage of 59%, but the team often snatched victories in the final minutes of the match, even though they created a lot of chances. I think one of the reasons why my tactics didn't work so well was the lack of a decent striker (I started saving for Real Madrid without buying anyone for the striker position in the first and second transfer windows). I was also struck by the fact that, with rare exceptions, I either lost or drew against weaker teams.

Does anyone have any tips for away games and playing against stronger teams? My 1860 Munich is playing terribly away, often getting smashed by a couple of goals and conceding in the first 10 minutes in almost every game
